VA Baby-Killing Governor is Coming For Your Guns

by Shari Dovale

The Baby-Killing Governor, Ralph “Blackface” Northam, is ecstatic that he now has a Democrat Legislature in Virginia. As soon as the elections were over, he began announcing his plans to confiscate guns.

Directly on the heels of this manure extravaganza, over 100 cities and counties (118 at last count) are fighting back through Second Amendment Sanctuary Resolutions.

Therefore, in a moment of snake-oil salemanship, Northam backs up on the confiscation idea and said there would only be a ban on sales of semi-automatic rifles. He would allow gun owners to keep their current AR-15s and similar rifles as long as they registered them. Otherwise, they must surrender the rifles.

Sure, of course we believed him … Not!

Walter E. Williams, professor of economics at George Mason University, wrote an excellent OpEd for Fox News in which he urged Virginians not to fall for the registration trick. Knowing who owns what weapons is the first step to confiscation. “

Make sure that you read the upcoming bills. They will tell you the whole story. And if it can happen in Virginia, it can happen in every state.

Virginia Senate Bill 16

TITLE: Assault firearms and certain firearm magazines; prohibiting sale, transport, etc., penalties.

SUMMARY: Prohibiting sale, transport, etc., of assault firearms and certain firearm magazines; penalties. Expands the definition of “assault firearm” and prohibits any person from importing, selling, transferring, manufacturing, purchasing, possessing, or transporting an assault firearm. A violation is a Class 6 felony. The bill prohibits a dealer from selling, renting, trading, or transferring from his inventory an assault firearm to any person. The bill also prohibits a person from carrying a shotgun with a magazine that will hold more than seven rounds of the longest ammunition for which it is chambered in a public place; under existing law, this prohibition applies only in certain localities. The bill makes it a Class 1 misdemeanor to import, sell, barter, or transfer any firearm magazine designed to hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition.

But take a look at what else is on the horizon (emphasis added):

Virginia Senate Bill 64

TITLE: Paramilitary activities; penalty.

SUMMARY: §18.2-433.2. Paramilitary activity prohibited; penalty.

A person shall be is guilty of unlawful paramilitary activity, punishable as a Class 5 felony if he:

1. Teaches or demonstrates to any other person the use, application, or making of any firearm, explosive, or incendiary device, or technique capable of causing injury or death to persons, knowing or having reason to know or intending that such training will be employed for use in, or in furtherance of, a civil disorder; or

2. Assembles with one or more persons for the purpose of training with, practicing with, or being instructed in the use of any firearm, explosive, or incendiary device, or technique capable of causing injury or death to persons, intending to employ such training for use in, or in furtherance of, a civil disorder; or

3. Assembles with one or more persons with the intent of intimidating any person or group of persons by drilling, parading, or marching with any firearm, any explosive or incendiary device, or any components or combination thereof.

2. That the provisions of this act may result in a net increase in periods of imprisonment or commitment. Pursuant to §30-19.1:4 of the Code of Virginia, the estimated amount of the necessary appropriation cannot be determined for periods of imprisonment in state adult correctional facilities; therefore, Chapter 854 of the Acts of Assembly of 2019 requires the Virginia Criminal Sentencing Commission to assign a minimum fiscal impact of $50,000. Pursuant to §30-19.1:4 of the Code of Virginia, the estimated amount of the necessary appropriation cannot be determined for periods of commitment to the custody of the Department of Juvenile Justice.

In many ways, I see this as an even more dangerous bill than their weasely attempts at confiscation. With SB 64, they are making it illegal to teach gun safety, practice shooting your firearm, or even learning self-defense.

The wording is cryptic and can be interpreted in different ways. They will tell you that they don’t intend to stop your military parades, or your civil war reenactments, or even your martial arts training classes,

but they can…

Let’s not forget that this nitwit was caught up in the Blackface scandal, as well as the baby-killing garbage. He needed something to distract the Dems and get them back on his side. Hence the brainstorm of gun confiscation. It began as a distraction. All of a sudden, blackface became okay.

Additionally, this is how the Democrats took over the State House in the November election, however, not a single one of them ran their campaigns on the issue. As soon as the election was over, and their majority was assured, they sent these bills in as “Prefiled Legislation” in November.

  1. There is no constitutional gun control. The second amendment makes it as clear as the English language can…”shall not be infringed”.

On the Federal side, all state funding should be pulled from ANY STATE that has ANY gun laws on the books. Not held, but removed. This is also true for any area where the COTUS is clear and states have usurped the law…i.e. illegal alien sanctuary laws.

On the SCOTUS (Supreme Court) side, they have disgraced themselves and no longer have credibility with the American people. Their rulings are no longer grounded in the COTUS. They are irrelevant and should be ignored.

On the citizen side, it’s time to earn our rights again and make those tyrants pay the price for their tyranny. We move no further, and the pendulum swings back starting now.
