Pandemic Over-reach in North Idaho – Again

On November 19th, the Panhandle Health District instituted a mandatory mask mandate for all five counties in north Idaho. Now, everyone in Kootenai, Benewah, Bonner, Boundary, Shoshone and Boundary counties are subject to mandatory masking requirements. For those who live in this region as I do, you should read the mandate for yourselves. You can find it at the PHD website at this link:

The mandate has some exemptions, but it also comes with the threat of fines and even jail time for those who refuse to be muzzled. There was such a mandate for Kootenai County earlier this year, but it was rescinded. Now it is back and applies to all areas.

I cannot pretend I am not biased on this issue. I have done far too much personal reading into the whole “pandemic” issue to believe in the need for anything that Panhandle Health has mandated. If you haven’t done much research on the topic yourself, I suggest that you start, unless you want to simply fall in line with whatever is mandated. I offer one link to one article, to illustrate the point:

A few quotes from the article:

Top pathologist Dr. Roger Hodkinson told government officials in Alberta during a zoom conference call that the current coronavirus crisis is “the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on an unsuspecting public.”

Hodkinson’s comments were made during a discussion involving the Community and Public Services Committee and the clip was subsequently uploaded to YouTube.

Noting that he was also an expert in virology, Hodkinson pointed out that his role as CEO of a biotech company that manufactures COVID tests means, “I might know a little bit about all this.”

Dr. Hodkinson criticized mask usage and social distancing as preventatives for exposure to the virus:

Hodkinson remarked that “social distancing is useless because COVID is spread by aerosols which travel 30 meters or so before landing,” as he called for society to be re-opened immediately to prevent the debilitating damage being caused by lockdowns.

Hodkinson also slammed mandatory mask mandates as completely pointless.

“Masks are utterly useless. There is no evidence base for their effectiveness whatsoever,” he said.

The doctor also criticized the way testing is being done:

The doctor also slammed the unreliability of PCR tests, noting that “positive test results do not, underlined in neon, mean a clinical infection,” and that all testing should stop because the false numbers are “driving public hysteria.”

Finally, he summarized the actual risks to the great majority of Canadian citizens:

Hodkinson said that the risk of death in the province of Alberta for people under the age of 65 was “one in three hundred thousand,” and that it was simply “outrageous” to shut down society for what the doctor said “was just another bad flu.”

“I’m absolutely outraged that this has reached this level, it should all stop tomorrow,” concluded Dr. Hodkinson.

Dr. Hodkinson is not just another physician, although that should not matter in this case, as there are many physicians on the front lines of medical care that would echo his statements:

He received his general medical degrees from Cambridge University in the UK (M.A., M.B., B. Chir.) where he was a scholar at Corpus Christi College. Following a residency at the University of British Columbia he became a Royal College certified general pathologist (FRCPC) and also a Fellow of the College of American Pathologists (FCAP).

There is much more that could be said, from many more sources including The Lancet, CDC, WHO, even the MSM if you look for it. There is a great deal of evidence that we have all been the victims of the greatest hoax perpetrated in the USA, and perhaps the world. At this point, it will only get worse, and rapidly, unless we take a firm stand against it.

Please don’t misunderstand me. I am not saying one should not take precautions to protect one’s health. If you wish to wear a mask, or stay apart from others, fine. I have no problem with that and will respect your choice. What I am against is the imposition of such requirements by law, or threat. No one at PHD is my doctor, and none of them know anything about my medical needs. Who are they to decide what any of us must do? Recommendations – sure. Mandates, with the threat of jail time? No!

It appears that the need to stand up against tyranny has finally come to our own backyards. We can no longer pretend that government over-reach only happens in those “other” areas like New York or California. Each of us now needs to decide how we will respond to a direct order that violates our health choices and our personal freedoms. How does the left say it – “My body, my choice”? From here on, it only gets worse. The end of the road is mandatory DNA-altering vaccines, tracking chips and a social credit score, just like in China. Refuse the vaccine? Fine – you don’t travel, shop or work.

Will you fall in line, or will you stand up for your own health freedom? Now is the time to decide.
