You Must Elect Him Before You Can Know His Answer

Voters Do Not Deserve to know how Candidate Joe Biden stands on the issue of packing the Supreme Court, as he said on camera.

Biden has said voters will know his position the day after Election Day.  Running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., has also dodged the question

This smacks too much of the Pelosi ObamaCare mantra, “You have to pass it to know what’s in it.”

Even the Main Stream Press are going nuts over this one:

New York Post: ‘Shut up, man!’ Biden refuses to answer court-packing question during presidential debate
The Atlantic: Biden and Harris Need an Answer on Court Packing
CNN: Biden says he’ll answer court-packing question ‘when the election is over’

Biden claimed that his dodging of the question is because he doesn’t want his answer in the headlines.

“If I answer the question, no matter which way I answer it. Then that becomes the headline tomorrow,” he said.

That is certainly a new one for me. I have never heard of a candidate that did not want to be in the headlines.

However, Biden has been against court-packing in the past. In 1983, he called it a “Bonehead Idea”. And last year, while he was still campaigning against the Democratic hopefuls prior to their primary, he told Iowa Starting Line, “No, I’m not prepared to go on and try to pack the court, because we’ll live to rue that day.”

Sen. Tom Cotton speculated on Fox & Friends as to the reasons for his refusal to answer now.

“Joe Biden obviously doesn’t want to answer the question whether or not he will pack the court because his far-left flank wants to pack the court,” Cotton said.

The senator, who made President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee list, claimed a packed court would mean losing the right to religious freedom and Second Amendment rights, using tax dollars for abortion-on-demand up to the ninth month of pregnancy, and taking over a home to give it to a giant corporation to use as a parking lot, as a few examples.
