Enough is ENOUGH! It’s Time For Bruce Cuff!

I have met Bruce Cuff and had the opportunity to sit down and talk about his campaign for Oregon Governor. I found him to be a very genuine man with high morals and ethics. I encourage all Oregonians to get to know him, as he is a great candidate to bring Oregon back to the values with which it began. ~ Shari Dovale, Editor Redoubt News

Bruce Cuff, a Real Estate Broker from Stayton, has announced his candidacy for Governor in the Republican Primary with the campaign slogan, “Enough is ENOUGH! It’s TIME for Bruce Cuff.” www.time4cuff.org Facebook Page – Bruce Cuff 4 Governor of Oregon.

Cuff believes with the raise in minimum wages, the only way for Oregon businesses to stay competitive is to cut business taxes. “We need more private sector employment and fewer government jobs for Oregon to prosper.” Currently 1 out of 6 jobs in Oregon are government employment. Cuff believes this is unsustainable and points to the $25 Billion unfunded liability in the Public Employees Retirement Fund to make his point. “If the Unfunded Liability continues to grow when the market is going up it could potentially double once the market falters.”

Cuff is Pro-life and believes we can agree to disagree on abortion, however, expecting Oregonians to pay for “free abortions for all,” including illegal aliens, is “over the top.” He supports the Stop Public Funding of Abortions measure which should be on the November 2018 ballot.

Cuff also supports Oregon for Immigration Reforms petition to remove the sanctuary status of the State of Oregon. “In the US Constitution, Article 1, Section 8, para 4 it states, ‘The Congress shall have the Power to establish an Uniform Rule of Naturalization.’” Cuff believes the States delegated this Power to the Federal government. “For States, counties, or cities to claim sanctuary status is unlawful and unconstitutional.” This measure should also be on the ballot in November 2018.

Cuff, a native Oregonian from Brooks, served in the US Army from 1981 to 1985 and the Oregon National Guard from 1987 to 1988. He served on the Board of Property Tax Appeals for Marion County from 2009 to 2013. Prior to his Army service, Cuff went to Oregon State University and has a Political Science degree from Willamette University (1989).

Cuff and his wife, Vonna, live in Mehama and have 4 children and 3 grandchildren.
