Idaho State Rep. Heather Scott Endorses Scott Herndon for Senate
Sandpoint, Idaho– Idaho State Representative Heather Scott of Blanchard has announced her endorsement of Scott Herndon for the District 1 seat in the Idaho Senate in the upcoming May 17, 2022 Republican primary.
In her endorsement, Representative Scott states “Scott Herndon is citizen focused, savvy on issues, and unwavering in principle. He is dedicated to protecting our values and way of life.
The Idaho Senate needs a great reset, and Scott Herndon will be a great asset to the Senate!”
Representative Scott was first elected to the Idaho House of Representatives in 2014. She has collaborated with Scott Herndon since 2019 on bills related to Child Protective Services and parental rights and a bill that would ban all abortion in the state of Idaho.
Scott Herndon is a local homebuilder and is the current chairman of the Bonner County Republican Party.

We both want a reduction of federal power in Idaho that is currently exerted through massive federal spending in the state on programs that hamper the character and sovereignty of the state of Idaho. We also want to ensure a healthy balance of power is exercised between the legislature, the governor and the courts”.
