Speaker Pelosi Defends Liar Schiff

Democrat Adam Schiff of California took to his bully pulpit and lied about our President and his phone call with Ukraine President Zelenskyy.

Making up his own version of the words in the transcript, Schiff states that the words came from President Trump. He did not say it was a “parody”. This did not happen until later, after he was called out for lying.

Even if he had, how do you conduct business of the United States Congress on parodies? You can’t. You must have the facts.

And he did this in his official capacity as the The Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, putting it on record for all to see. His statements of “parody” were NOT put into the official record. I wonder how long before they delete, or change, this from the official record?

Now, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, also of California, is supporting Schiff on this, and claiming that the parody was actually “using the President’s own words”. She has willingly thrown out her own credibility over his lies.

From Fox News:

“I want the American people to know what that phone call was about. I want them to hear, it. So yeah [the parody’s] fair,” Pelosi told “Good Morning America” on Thursday. “It’s sad, but it’s using the president’s own words.”

“Those weren’t the president’s words, it was an interpretation of the president’s words. They’re saying he made this up,” ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos countered.

Sean Hannity calls it “The Schiff Show” which is highly appropriate, then tells of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and his resolution to censure Schiff:

“Chairman Adam Schiff has been lying to the American people for years,” McCarthy said in a tweet. “Now he is so desperate to damage the president that he literally made up a false version of a phone call. Enough is enough.”

“I have signed a resolution to censure Schiff in the House of Representatives,” he added.

The Democrats cannot even determine what the truth is anymore? They are saying they will attempt to impeach the President based on their own fabrications and lies.

They are obviously hoping that no one will do their own fact-checking. They seem to believe that the public will just take them at their word, believing anything that comes out of a Democrat mouth must be Gospel.

Here is Schiff’s fabricated version of the phone call:

Schiff, Sept. 26:

We’ve been very good to your country, very good. No other country has done as much as we have.

But you know what? I don’t see much reciprocity here. I hear what you want. I have a favor I want from you though. And I’m going to say this only seven times so you better listen good.

I want you to make up dirt on my political opponent, understand. Lots of it. On this and on that.

I’m going to put you in touch with people, not just any people, I am going to put you in touch with the attorney general of the United States, my Attorney General Bill Barr. He’s got the whole weight of the American law enforcement behind him.

And I’m going to put you in touch with Rudy. You’re going to love him. Trust me.

You know what I’m asking. And so I’m only going to say this a few more times. In a few more ways.

And by the way, don’t call me again. I’ll call you when you’ve done what I asked.
