ARPA is the Trojan Horse of Big Government Socialism

ARPA is the Trojan Horse
of Big Government Socialism

by Steve Fioravanti

Barack Obama once boldly declared, “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.” He shared this message in a speech on October 30, 2008, just prior to becoming elected as our 44th President. At the time, his larger than life persona propelled him into office. Millions of Americans were blindly swept up in his message for hope and change.

This bold and audacious statement immediately caught my attention. I knew what his radical statement meant, but I thought to myself, how will he fundamentally transform our nation?

The fundamental shift is almost complete. We have a culture of fear and intimidation by the forces of “diversity” and “tolerance.” Cultural Marxism has permeated every aspect of our society. We Americans, have subjugated ourselves to our government, by meekly abiding to all regulations, mandates, and executive orders.

The vehicle that is facilitating this transformation is an ingenious and diabolical plan called the “American Rescue Plan Act.” Also known as ARPA. The Feds are doling out $1.9 Trillion in “aid” to help our beleaguered states, counties, and cities “rebound” from the great “Plandemic.” In the words of Rahm Emanuel, “You never want a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.”

The massive and unprecedented growth of our federal government to carry out this agenda is in place. We all know Joe Biden’s zealous desire to vaccinate America. One of the stipulations for a city/county/state government in accepting ARPA funds is their agreement to comply with all other applicable federal statutes, regulations, and executive orders. Any municipality, county, or state government receiving the ARPA funds, must sign the U.S. Department of Treasury Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund Award Terms and Conditions.

This one document alone should trigger a red flag warning in everyone’s thought. Yet, ARPA is being fully embraced by many of our local leaders. They tell us there are “no strings” attached, and you are being an alarmist for questioning their pro-ARPA position. When justifying taking the federal hand-outs, our elected officials proclaim, “If we don’t take it, someone else will.”

Imagine turning a group of children loose in a candy store. And giving them instructions that they can choose anything they desire. All reasoning and self-control would be abandoned. What I find equally disconcerting is the lust for money that our elected officials are exhibiting in their wanton desire to take and spend the ARPA grants. The majority of our elected officials, in their blind acceptance, have not done their due diligence in vetting all the potential pitfalls associated with accepting the bribe money.

Simply said, ARPA is a Trojan horse full of big government policies, dictates, and mandates that will substantially increase the size, scope, and power of the federal government. The great deception is that we are being subverted from within. Our locally elected officials who many of us have trusted, are eager to “hand over the keys” of our sovereignty to the Feds.

The U.S. Treasury, who is entrusted with micro managing this program, is making cultural Marxism a central tenant in its decision on how these funds can be spent. This is not conjecture but fact. Take a look at this document called “American Rescue Plan: Centering Equity in Policymaking.” This can be downloaded directly from the U.S. Department of the Treasury website.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt, our 32nd president, would be very proud of our elected officials today. ARPA will expand our federal bureaucracy into epic proportions, exponentially well beyond the centralized growth of our federal government he envisioned during his administration.

Yes, we are on the cusp of a gargantuan federal government hell-bent on micro managing every aspect of our lives. This transformational and fundamental change has been accelerated to warp speed and our great country is teetering on the precipice. Can we save our constitutional Republic, or will we capitulate to Socialism and World government, where we are subject to a single political authority for all mankind?

In conclusion, the key to protecting people from government power is limiting government power – not handing the government more power. Power always comes down to control. The great statesman and founding father, Patrick Henry, warned that consolidation of power would “end in the destruction of our liberties.”
