Committed To War
(Will It Spread?)
By Pete Ketcham
By his recent visit to Ukraine, Biden has shown the world that the US is committed to supporting Ukraine in the Ukraine/Russian war “for as long as it takes”, or as long as he is president.
Thus we have three nations locked into a conflict that no one knows when it will end, or how it will end. The US is now committed to unlimited military supply and funds for Ukraine, but is self restricted from actual combat, Ukraine is committed to unlimited warfare to totally remove Russia from Ukraine, but is self restricted from actual strikes into Russia, and Russia is committed to total warfare with no limitations or restrictions.
The question concerning the future result of this ongoing Ukraine/Russia conflict and also what action China is going to take concerning Taiwan has now become prominent concerns of the US.
China
As China looks at the drawn-out quagmire Russia is in, it may have reassessed it’s tactics to invade & conquer Taiwan. It is possible that any strategy they employ will be swift, massive, and complete, avoiding any prolonged conflict that would give the US time to intervene.
It also seems that China knows that if they are going to take Taiwan, the best opportunity will be during the term of the grossly incompetent Biden, who has weakened the US military readiness by the service wide mandatory woke and LGBT indoctrination, and has demonstrated military leadership incompetence in the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Conclusion
The Ukraine/Russia war not only involves the US but also other NATO nations, and in like kind Russia is being militarily supported by China, Iran, and North Korea. In essence a large part of the world is impacted by this current war and the potential war between China and Taiwan.
