Boundary County Commissioners Are In A Pickle
Notice to Boundary County residents: Boundary County commissioners are in a pickle.
They took $1.1 million from the feds by way of American Recovery Plan Act with no strings attached. It only had ropes and chains. Receivers of the money must comply with all federal laws, rules, regulations and executive orders, effectively gutting the concept of local government. Presently the commissioners are sitting on the money pending court challenges of the constitutionality of the laws rules regulations and executive orders. [I wouldn’t put much trust in the legal system which would not intervene in a stolen election.]
The proper thing to do would be to send the money back and say thanks but no thanks. Up for grabs would be your freedom, your bank account, and everything you own. This may seem far-fetched but the sponsors of the Great Reset which the American Recovery Plan Act is part of are saying “you will own nothing and rent everything and you will be happy.”
Oh and I should mention that the commissioners want to purchase a brand new ambulance with the $1.1 million, which, come to think of it, might be a very useful item once the taxpayers in Boundary County realize what is going on.
Dan Dinning said “we’re not sending the money back.” It’s our duty and responsibility to try and change his mind or change commissioners. Whether or not executive orders are ruled constitutional, taking money from the federal government to run the county government is simply wrong-headed because it violates the whole intent of having the Constitution, which is to limit government.
The Tenth Amendment says it clearly. The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people. What that means clearly is if the people of Boundary County decide they want a new ambulance the people of Boundary County can figure out a way to purchase a new ambulance and should do so. How about contracting out the ambulance service?
