Census Results Show Shift In Political Influence

The U.S. Census Bureau announced today that the 2020 Census shows the resident population of the United States on April 1, 2020, was 331,449,281, which indicates an increase of nearly 23 million people since 2010.
The biggest takeaway from the census is the reallocation of house seats and electoral college votes.
The 538 votes in the Electoral College are made up of 435 votes allocated to states based on their number of House seats and 100 votes based on their Senate seats, plus three votes for the District of Columbia because of the 23rd Amendment.
For the first time ever, California has lost a house seat, and a vote in the electoral college. The mass migration away from the Socialist practices and extreme taxation of the Lefts policies has had it’s effect.
Most people seem to have moved to Texas, as their population has risen tremendously, up 3,999,944 to 29,145,505, and has awarded the state an additional two seats in the House of Representatives.
Five additional states will gain one seat each (Colorado, Florida, Montana, North Carolina, and Oregon), and seven states will lose one seat each (California, Illinois, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia).
The remaining states’ number of seats will not change.
