Texas Lawsuit Against 4 States is Joined by Hundreds

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is leading the fight against election fraud by filing a lawsuit on behalf of the State of Texas at the U.S. Supreme Court. They are seeking new elections in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, and Wisconsin because of voting irregularities in those states.
At least eighteen states have signed onto the lawsuit, including including Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, and West Virginia.
In addition to these State Attorneys General, there are hundreds of others filing amicus briefs in support of Texas.
President Donald Trump filed a Motion to Intervene.
106 Members of the U.S. House of Representatives have joined together to support the Texas lawsuit.
Current members of the Georgia State Legislature have filed in support of Texas, stating “In the months before the November 3, 2020 election, and without notice to or permission from the State legislature, Georgia election officials committed acts that were contrary to Georgia statutory law.“
Senators and Representatives of the State of Alaska, State of Arizona, and State of Idaho, and the sitting Lieutenant Governor of the State of Idaho have filed their support for the plaintiffs concerning “The Guarantee Clause,” which the Texas filing did not address.
The Pennsylvania House of Representatives Leadership filed in support of the plaintiffs, stating “despite the bipartisan efforts of the General Assembly to strike a careful balance between access and security in the Commonwealth’s election process, those legislative efforts were subverted by outside actors who greatly damaged the Commonwealth’s election integrity procedures. “
