Greg Anderson is a Hero for Obeying His Oath

For those of you who haven’t heard of Greg Anderson, he is a Port of Seattle Police Officer who spoke up on video about the tyrannical usurpations that are going on around the country concerning stay at home “orders”. Officer Anderson refused to take part in the over-reach and reminded fellow cops that “this isn’t the way America works.”

After listening to talking heads conveying the message that Police Officers must obey their superiors regardless of if they think they are acting contrary to the constitution, (said every cop can’t run around acting like the Supreme Court), I had to speak up. These talking heads truly show their ignorance to our Bill of Rights and history. Remember, “I was just following orders” didn’t help NAZI executioners in Nuremberg.

First of all, SCOTUS is not the sole arbiter of the constitution, the constitution is, and the people have the final say. We loaned the Federal government powers that  are “Few and Defined”, and nowhere in the constitution does it say that the Supreme Court decides what is constitutional; in Marbury v Madison those powers were assumed. The constitution is neither right nor wrong; it just is what it is and means what it meant when written. Judges write opinions which can be either right or wrong, that’s why occasionally a court overrules prior opinions. For those of you who think judges make rulings, you need to remember that they are our employees, and we don’t appoint or elect kings.

The government has grown way bigger than intended and given governments insatiable appetite for power, and their loss of memory for why they were created (to protect our rights); they will usurp authority as has been the case all through history. No man is an Angel, and there are no Angels in government, that’s why we have checks, balances, Oaths of office, and that’s the main reason we have guns; self-defense, especially against tyrannical government is the first Law of Nature.

So, every public official (our employees), must swear an oath to uphold the constitution against all enemies, foreign AND domestic. Everyone from the dog catcher to the President is supposed to refuse to obey unconstitutional orders. The constitution was written for the layman so that the voters would comprehend it, it is not a lawyer’s play dough to be twisted and molded, and it cannot be amended by a SCOTUS opinion. 

  Yes, Greg Anderson is a hero for obeying his oath, and yes, he has not only the right, but the duty to refuse illegal orders.

               From Thomas Jefferson’s 1819 letter to Judge Spencer Roane:

              “…each department is truly independent of the others, and has an equal right to decide for itself    what is the meaning of the constitution in the cases submitted to its action; and especially, where it is to act ultimately and without appeal.

               From a letter to an unknown recipient, Madison wrote:

               “As the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial Departments of the U.S. are coordinate, and each equally bound to support the Constitution, it follows that each must in the exercise of its functions, be guided by the text of the Constitution according to its own interpretation of it; and consequently, that in the event of irreconcilable interpretations, the prevalence of the one or the other Department must depend on the nature of the case, as receiving its final decision from one or the other, and passing from that decision into effect, without involving the function of any other” (Emphasis added)

We just heard proof from the author of the Declaration of Independence and the Father of the Constitution…that ought to do it, but it won’t, because common sense is not common anymore and the gluttony for power by an evil few will never subside until we bring our government back down to the size it is supposed to be and take back control of our government, the way it was meant to be. Ignorance is bliss and tyrants love to spread the bliss.

You also need to know that there are no emergency powers in the Constitution with the possible exception of Militias. Our founders weren’t stupid; they knew that if you wrote in emergency powers, everything would become an emergency. Oregon is a prime example. In Oregon, the people can repeal a law by initiative if they don’t like it unless there is an emergency clause added, so the Demon-crat led super-majority in Salem has been writing emergency clauses into every ideologically motivated bill they have written for several years now, basically shutting down the vote of the people.

Executive Orders do not give the people orders; they are orders for the bureaucracies. You are a free citizen, if the Governor can give you an order, you aren’t free. Remember, when they come around with their attempt at forced vaccinations, that you own your body and no one has a right to force you to put anything in it. Governors are our employees in spite of their high opinion of themselves, you are not their slave.

This media driven scamdemic has turned into a ridiculous attempt at total political and social control. I am seeing people lose their livelihoods. How many people are dying because they are staying home and ignoring signs of medical problems such as strokes or heart attacks? How much has the suicide rate grown? In this case I truly believe that the remedy is much worse than the disease. At some point, we may have to stand up, act like Americans, and take our country back with civil disobedience. Hopefully there are many more heroes out there like Greg Anderson that support their Oath and will be on our side. I believe there are.  

Remember; we are Americans, we were born of rebellion, we don’t bend to tyrants.
