How do the citizens of a communist regime halfway around the world understand civil rights better than the Democrats?

Hong Kong Protesters Ask
For President Trump’s Help

by Shari Dovale

It is called the world’s most visited city, but the activists there say they want Democracy, and are protesting the communist regime in Beijing. They have asked President Trump to help them with this battle. They understand that our Bill of Rights has the most guarantees for the people, throughout the world. They want that strength behind them in their fight for their rights.

The extradition law was the final catalyst for these citizens. What is the extradition law? Fortune Magazine explains:

The “Fugitive Offenders and Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters Legislation (Amendment) Bill 2019” — proposed by Hong Kong’s government in February — covers mainland China and other jurisdictions that don’t have extradition agreements with Hong Kong.

The government would have you believe that this law was designed to protect the city from harboring suspected criminals. So what is the problem?

Opponents say the law could open the door for anyone — including political dissidents or civil rights activists — who runs afoul of the Chinese government to be arrested on trumped-up charges and sent to the mainland, where they would face what the U.S. State Department called China’s “capricious legal system.” The law would apply to Hong Kong citizens, foreign residents and even people passing through on business or as tourists.

The most recent by AP News says:

Thousands of demonstrators in Hong Kong urged President Donald Trump to “liberate” the semiautonomous Chinese territory during a peaceful march to the U.S. Consulate on Sunday, but violence broke out later in the business and retail district as police fired tear gas after protesters vandalized subway stations, set fires and blocked traffic.

Demonstrators flooded a park in central Hong Kong, chanting “Resist Beijing, Liberate Hong Kong” and “Stand with Hong Kong, fight for freedom.” Many of them, clad in black shirts and wearing masks, waved American flags and carried posters that read “President Trump, please liberate Hong Kong” as they marched to the U.S. Consulate nearby.

These protesters are fighting an oppressive government for their rights. However, here in the United States, Antifa, the strong arm of the Democrat Party, are fighting to have an oppressive government take away their rights, and yours as well. How do the citizens of a communist regime halfway around the world understand civil rights better than the Democrats?
