Democrats Acting Like Donkeys Over Impeachment

The Democrats think they have won the lottery this time.
The White House released the transcript of the July 2019 phone call and the Democrat Socialists are dancing to the tune of impeachment.
The only problem is that the President, though he may have asked Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to find out what the heck Hunter Biden and Daddy Joe were up to over there, did not suggest any sort of quid pro quo for the information.
The Democrat Socialists in DC are always looking for a way to impeach President Trump, and have been doing this since BEFORE he ever took the oath of office. They have always come up short. I predict they will again this time.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced the opening of a formal impeachment inquiry against President Trump.
The Washington Post reports:
“The actions of the Trump presidency have revealed the dishonorable fact of the president’s betrayal of his oath of office, betrayal of our national security and betrayal of the integrity of our elections,” Pelosi said in a brief statement before a backdrop of American flags, repeatedly invoking the nation’s founders. “Therefore, today, I am announcing the House of Representatives is moving forward with an official impeachment inquiry.”
Congressional Republicans rallied to the president’s defense, arguing impeachment would only motivate GOP voters.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said in a statement that Democrats “have been trying to reverse the results of the 2016 election since President Trump took office. For them, this is all about politics. Not about facts.”
And from the NY Post:
“Dems do nothing but weaponize politics when they should be working on behalf of their constituents,” said White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham in a tweet.
“President Trump is here in NYC working hard on behalf of our country, while the dems continue to stomp their feet & shout the word impeachment. Nothing new here.”
The chairman of the National Republican Committee, US Rep. Tom Emmer of Minnesota, added in a statement, “Make no mistake about it: backing impeachment will cost the Democrats their majority in 2020” in the House.
But, the one thing they refuse to consider are that the President’s polling numbers are very high.
