Can We Map The Nation’s Future?

Can We Map The Nation’s Future?

By Pete Ketcham

As we live in these unprecedented times of uncertainty, and observe our nation polarizing & dividing along a basic moral line, with God-fearing constitutional conservative principles on one side, and godless liberal socialist principles on the other, we wonder how and where it will all end.

It is very difficult to impossible to predict the future of this nation, for we are sailing in uncharted waters we have never been in before.  We see so many unexpected events unfolding on a daily basis, that one is left wondering what will come next. Yet I do believe that it may be possible to at least “get a feel” for where we are headed based on examining the following three entities that have the greatest influence in our nation at this time.

(1) EDUCATION
This is unquestionably the greatest influence that will determine the mindset, principles, and morals of the coming generation of our national leaders, corporate CEOs. Judges, attorneys, teachers, professors, entertainers, journalists, and many other professions.  What we see being taught in our schools today, (from kindergarten to collage graduate school) will be the future social/moral guidelines for this nation.

Unfortunately the current curriculum being used in our schools today is primarily anti-christian and pro liberal. Not only is the curriculum liberal and biased, but so are the teachers and professors. At this time there are no effective conservative counter measures that are being implemented to change our public school system back to it’s former patriotic christian conservative base. There is home schooling and online conservative curriculums, and although these home schooling efforts are to be greatly admired, they are a small influence compared to the massive public school system’s impact on our society.  The Christian colleges such as Hillsdale and Liberty University are a tremendous education asset, but once again are very small in numbers compared to the approximate 3.7 million yearly college graduates.

(2) NEWS MEDIA
As we are daily reminded, the mainstream news media has now evolved into the propaganda arm of the Democratic party, and other left wing organizations such as the LGBT and the abortion industry. It is successfully influencing a large portion of the population into accepting the liberal philosophy and agenda. To counter this “fake news” agenda there is Fox News, and conservative radio talk show hosts, but it would seem that overall, the mainstream news media has the greater influence at this time.

(3) ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY
Like the education system, the liberal entertainment industry also has a tremendous influence on the moral and character development of our youth. But unfortunately, they have now  degenerated into a industry that seems to produce nothing but vulgar violent movies and television programs. Not only are they influencing the culture of our youth , but also a large portion of the adults. There is a conservative entertainment industry, but it is small, and is practically required to remain “underground” to even operate in Hollywood.

Based on three forgoing major influences, and others such as the “Deep State” of liberal bureaucrats, the following scenarios could possibly be the end results of what is occurring in our society today..

1. The Trump election has caused these three primary influential entities to “doubled down” and become even more radical, vulgar, and illogical as they spread their influence throughout the nation.  If they continue to remain unchecked “in power”, they my lead our entire nation down to a convoluted socialist society that will have abandoned all common sense and morals.

2. There is always the chance that some type of cataclysmic event could impact this nation and create a complete “reset” that would bring reality back to the delusional left, and allow reality to once again prevail in the governing of our God given nation. What form this event could take is impossible to predict, as it could be economical, nuclear, EMP, or a natural catastrophe.

3. Lastly, there is one more overarching factor that may turn out to be the prevailing influence that sends everything “over the edge”, and that is the illogical, insane hatred that is rapidly growing on the left against Trump, his staff, and supporters. History has shown that this type of hatred eventually evolves into a violent bloody conflict (our civil war is case in point). History has also shown us that this type of hatred had been the greatest motivator for the violent action of Hitler and the Nazis against the Jewish citizens of Germany. Hitler used propaganda, the education system, and the press to successful spread his hatred throughout the gullible German population. It had all started slowly with discrimination in the streets, but ended up in the death camps. We now see the left in America using the same strategy of propagandized hatred that Hitler used, and it is increasingly manifesting itself as violence in our streets and public places, but unlike an unarmed population that Hitler subjugated, the left is up against a conservative patriot population that will never allow their second amendment rights to be lost.

Consequently, violent confrontation, and anarchy could develop in our nation to the extent that it would require the President to take control and declare Martial Law, which is describe below:

“Martial law is the imposition of direct military control of normal civilian functions of government, especially in response to a temporary emergency such as invasion or major disaster, or in an occupied territory. Martial law can be used by governments to enforce their rule over the public”.

If this should ever occur, pray that it is a God fearing conservative President that declares it.

  1. “..violent confrontation, and anarchy could develop in our nation to the extent that it would require the President to take control and declare Martial Law,”

Here in our constitutional republic, there is no such thing as “martial law” or “emergency powers”.

“The Constitution of the United States is a law for rulers and people, equally in war and peace, and covers with the shield of its protection all classes of men, at all times, and under all circumstances. NO DOCTRINE INVOLVING MORE PERNICIOUS CONSEQUENCES WAS EVER INVENTED BY THE WIT OF MAN THAT ANY OF ITS PROVISIONS THAN THAT ANY OF ITS PROVISIONS CAN BE SUSPENDED DURING ANY OF THE GREAT EXIGENCIES OF GOVERNMENT. Such a doctrine leads directly to anarchy or despotism.” The Supreme Court of the United States, 1866

Now read it again. It even say WHY not one of the US Constitutions PROTECTIONS can be suspended, because “Such a doctrine leads directly to anarchy or despotism.”

Here is a later version saying much the same.

“Emergency does not create power. Emergency does not increase granted power or remove or diminish the restrictions upon power granted or reserved. The Constitution was adopted in a period of grave emergency. Its grants of power to the Federal Government and its limitations of the power of the States were determined in the light of emergency and they are not altered by emergency.” Home Building & Loan Association v. Blaisdell, 290 U.S. 398, 425 (1934)

It is always important here within our nation to know that, as Daniel Webster said so well: “We may be tossed upon an ocean where we can see no land – nor, perhaps, the sun or stars. But there is a chart and a compass for us to study, to consult, and to obey. That chart is the Constitution.”

“On every occasion [of Constitutional interpretation] let us carry ourselves back to the time when the Constitution was adopted, recollect the spirit manifested in the debates, and instead of trying [to force] what meaning may be squeezed out of the text, or invented against it, [instead let us] conform to the probable one in which it was passed.” Thomas Jefferson, letter to William Johnson, 12 June 1823

Dr. Edwin Vieira: “This has nothing to do with personalities or subjective ideas. It’s a matter of what the Constitution provides… The government of the United States has never violated anyone’s constitutional rights… The government of the United States will never violate anyone constitutional rights, because it cannot violate anyone’s constitutional rights. The reason for that is: The government of the United States is that set of actions by public officials that are consistent with the Constitution. Outside of its constitutional powers, the government of the United States has no legitimacy. It has no authority; and, it really even has no existence. It is what lawyers call a legal fiction.”

It matters not what problems come, those who SERVE WITHIN our government are still bound by the US Constitution, by each state’s Constitution. It is very important that all Americans do this, read it. How many are aware that all US Presidents are REQUIRED to take and keep an Oatt? That Oath requires them to “Preserve, Protect, and Defend” the US Constitution, always.

“Americans would have had to understand and enforce their Constitution. You notice I say Americans, not the Congress or the Supreme Court, because who is the final arbiter of this document? [holding a copy of the Constitution] It is not Congress, and it is not the Supreme Court. It is “we the people.” Read the thing. How does it start? “We the people do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States”; not “we the politicians,” not “we the judges.” Those people are the agents of the people. We the people are the principals.

The doctrine is very clear that, being the principals, we are the Constitution’s ultimate interpreters and enforcers. You don’t have to take my word for it. Let’s go back to the Founding Fathers…

The Founding Fathers were profound students of law and political philosophy, their knowledge unequaled by any today. Their mentor in that era was William Blackstone, who wrote Blackstone’s Commentaries, probably the most widely read legal treatise of its time, certainly here in the United States. What did Blackstone write about this subject? He wrote, “Whenever a question arises between the society at large and any magistrate vested with powers originally delegated by that society, it must be decided by the voice of the society itself; there is not upon earth any other tribunal to resort to.”
We the people are the Constitution’s ultimate interpreters. (Dr. Edwin Vieira, http://www.constitution.org/mon/vieira_03225.htm )
