One Nation (out from) Under God

The recent capitulation of Chick-Fil-A restaurant chain to the perverse LGBT demands illustrates who is apparently in charge of this nations moral course. In this capitulation process Chick-Fil-A abandoned their support to the Salivation Army, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and other christian based organizations. In essence Chick-Fil-A abandoned their Christian roots in preference to profit and cultural acceptance, despite the fact they had never discriminated against LGBT customers.
As the LGBT raised opposition to this company (world wide), many Christians rallied to the support of Chick-Fil-A, believing this company would stand firm in their Christian conviction that marriage was between a man and a woman, but now, Chick-Fil-A will no doubt lose much of their christian customer base.
I have used this Chick-Fil-A issue extensively to illustrate how powerful and bizarre the LGBT (and others) have become in their war against the traditional biblical beliefs as practiced by the American Christian community. Our nation was founded on christian principles, and for about 200 years had faithfully followed these principles, (this isn’t to imply that all American citizens were law abiding and morally upright, but the underlying benchmark of legal and moral conduct was the Christian beliefs as set forth in the Bible) but in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s things began to change. America began to move out from under the guidance and protection of God and adopted a satanic moral code that has continued to grow to it’s present dominance over our culture.
It is amazing how fast this transition from God’s national guidance to Satan’s guidance was achieved, and how powerful the LGBT community has become. Today no politician (Trump included), corporate executive, hight profile personality, or even a common person, dare make a negative statement about the LGBT community, or they will get thoroughly hammered by the mainstream media, and social media..
It is hard to accept the fact that the belief (throughout the history of mankind) that marriage is exclusively between a man and a woman would cause a major corporation to disavow this basic fact in order to accommodate the perverse agenda of the LGBT, but it may not be that surprising, as other major retail corporations (such as Target) have already done so.
CONCLUSION
This downward trend that is taking our nation out from under the guidance and protection of God is very disturbing, as we are no longer “One Nation Under God with Liberty And Justice For All”, yet, I continue to have hope and confidence that God has not abandoned his people within this nation, and even though it may take a catastrophic event to bring this nation back to Him, they will return.
Lastly, this hope and confidence is partially based on the fact that Trump became president against all odds, and thus far he has been able to withstand political and social apposition that no other political person I can think of could survive. As we look back through our history, principally during the Revolutionary War and the Civil War, it would seem that Divine intervention had placed the right person ( Washington, Lincoln) in the position of President to deal with the catastrophic national crisis, and that Divine intervention could be taking place in our current crises.

It is the Chick-Fil-a Foundation that changed their donation partners, not Corporate. Yes, the Foundation gets its money from the corporation but they are separate entities.

Oh really? Exactly how did they rally to support – were they out there on the front lines in direct confrontation with the protestors, making it clear that obstructing Chick-Fil-A businesses was not going to be tolerated, or were they just ‘tweeting’ and otherwise virtue signalling? Maybe they wrote some ‘strongly worded articles’…again that would have zero effect on the opposition. For “support” to be useful it must be tactically effective.

So whatever happened to “Love the sinner but hate the sin” and “whosoever among you without sin shall cast the first stone”? If you’re going to call yourself “Christian” then you’d better walk the walk to the best of your ability, and piling on Chick-Fil-A by boycotting them for stopping their VOLUNTARY CHARITABLE contributions to some or all groups is not what I’d call Christian charity.
If you want people to return to God, Jesus, and the Bible, then you can’t act like a Muslim and kill off anyone who doesn’t tow your “perfect” line. Jesus taught better, and you know it.
