You Must Know Your Enemy

There is a book studied the world over called “The Art of War” by Sun Tzu. He was a Chinese general, military strategist, writer, and philosopher who lived in the Eastern Zhou period of ancient China (544 BC- 496 BC). His book is often quoted by many military strategists and writers, but the quote I personally prefer is the following:
“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
We are presently in a battle to save our Constitutional Nation from being drug down into a immoral, socialistic type morass. If we lose this battle, we could lose our very existence as a nation. Thus, the portion of the forgoing quote that is applicable to our present struggle is this: “If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat.”
We thought we knew our enemy ( the godless, immoral, socialistic, Democratic party), but we really didn’t realize the depth of personal depravity of the majority of Democrats until Trump took office. At that point I think many of us were somewhat stunned at the vitriolic hate and venom that erupted out of the Democratic party.
Despite that fact, the President and the Republicans in congress have been negotiating with the Democrats in an honest sincere manner, hoping that the Democrats would respect that approach, and respond in kind, but we now see there isn’t a honest and sincere bone in the Democrat body, as they use every occasion of contact with the Republicans to deceive and undermine any conservative effort. There is absolutely no dishonest, deceitful, or immoral tactic the Democrats will not use in order to accomplish their agenda..
I believe that most conservatives are now beginning to realize the depth of depravity and insanity the individuals of the Democrat party have descended into. Not only is their agenda depraved, but it is also bizarre and unrealistic.
This departure from reality is graphically illustrated by the Democrat party’s adoption of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (AOC) “Green New Deal”, which is environmentally and economically insane. To name a few of the details of this “new deal” they are as follows:
1. Destroy the airline industry and replace it by high speed railroads (not yet built)
2. Destroy the oil, gas, coal industry, hydro dams, and replace them with windmills and solar panels,
3. Prevent the cows and cattle of the beef and dairy industries from passing methane gas??????
4. Outlaw all combustion engine vehicles including trucks, which would destroy the nation’s trucking industry,
5. Retrofit all buildings in the US with some type of “environmental friendly” heating and AC systems,
keeping in mind that all this needs to be done within ten years in order to meet AOC’s twelve year (climate change) end of the world prediction.
We may look at this type of political agenda, and feel that the Democrats have finally went over the edge, and that no sane person will believe them, nor vote for them. But once again we must “know our enemy” and not underestimate their ability to sell their ideas via the news media, academia, and Hollywood to a dumbed down culture.
Also, the individual members of the Democrat party leadership are very talented in their persuasive speaking style, making deceptive, irrational, false statements sound like reasoned profound utterances.
As we ponder all that is going on with the Democrats, we wonder if they themselves actually believe what they are promoting, or are they aware that their agenda is completely bogus and unrealistic, but feel they can “con” the population into believing it.
I believe both attitudes prevail, the young Democrats, such as AOC actual believe it, and the “old dogs” such as Pelosi and Schumer know it is mostly BS, but they all come together to promote it, and that’s what makes them a viable and dangerous threat to our constitutional nation.

CONCLUSION
This three prong prosecutorial attack on Trump and his associates by the Democrats is going to require a house full of attorneys to defend against it, plus a miracle, and in no instance should we underestimate this danger to the Trump presidency. It is imperative that we must indeed know our enemy as per Sun Tzu’s quote.
