(Lifezette) – Mollie Tibbetts, a 20-year-old Brooklyn, Iowa, college student, was murdered by Cristhian Bahena Rivera, 24, who was charged with first-degree murder after confessing and leading authorities to the cornfield where he had tried to hide her body.
Rivera is an illegal alien from Mexico who has been in the U.S. for at least four years, but many in the mainstream media are far from eager to report that fact. In its story on Wednesday, for example, about how law enforcement cracked the case, CNN said nothing about Rivera’s immigration status.
Readers had to click on a link nearly at the end of the post to go to a second story, and, even then, CNN only described Rivera as “a Mexican man who officials said came to the U.S. illegally …” That somewhat oblique reference came only in the fourth graph, and it was not repeated until the end of the story in a reference to President Donald Trump.
Tibbetts’ disappearance has been a major news story for weeks, so it was impossible to ignore totally when it became known an illegal alien had confessed to her murder and led authorities to her dead body.
Sadly, journalists working for major mainstream media outlets totally ignore many more crimes illegal aliens commit in this country.
Here are just five examples from the past month.
1.) Illegal alien from Mexico charged in brutal Minnesota murder. Fraider Diaz-Carbajal was deported in 2014 but returned and is now charged with stabbing a 27-year-old Minnesota woman to death. He speaks no English but claims to have lived in the Shakopee Valley area of the state for 18 years, according to the Shakopee Valley News.
Diaz-Carbajal, who has two previous DUIs, was found in what police described as an extremely bloody scene with his head on the chest of Enedelia Perez Garcia, his ex-girlfriend, who had been stabbed multiple times and was dead. If convicted, Diaz-Carbajal could face up to 40 years in prison.
2.) Accused “rideshare rapist” is Orlando Vilchez Lazo, a 37-year-old Peruvian illegal alien living in the San Francisco area, according to a local TV station. Lazo was charged in late July “with multiple offenses including rape, sexual penetration with a foreign object, kidnapping, and false imprisonment.
Authorities said he, a former Lyft driver, continued to pass himself off as a one as a way of encountering victims. Officials with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) say they will deport Lazo if he is released from local custody but, since San Francisco is a sanctuary city, it’s not clear how they will know when he is freed.
3.) Illegal alien from Mexico charged with raping an 11-year-old Arkansas girl. Luis Mario Rodriguez-Torres, 21, allegedly met the girl through Snapchat, then would not let her go when she met him, according to KFSM in Springdale, Arkankas.
4.) Convicted and deported murderer caught near El Paso. Jose Santos Diaz-Hernandez, a 42-year-old Salvadoran, fled Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials when he and another man were observed crossing illegally into the U.S. Diaz-Hernandez previously served seven years in a Texas prison for a 2002 murder in Houston, according to the El Paso Times. He is charged with re-entering the U.S. illegally, a felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
5.) Convicted sex offender caught reentering U.S. illegally. When agents approached 41-year-old Magdaleno Elizalde-Alonso after he crossed into the U.S. illegally near El Paso, he tried to escape, according to the El Paso Times.
Once he was caught, agents determined that Elizalde-Alonso had previously served prison time for “aggravated criminal sexual assault” and “predatory criminal sexual assault of a child” in Chicago, Illinois.
He is now charged with re-entering the U.S. illegally, a felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison.

Not a loss when someone like Mollie gets killed or dies.
You’re not too bright, are you? Murder of anyone is bad. Do you think that murderers only go around killing (in your definition) people who hates white people?
It is really important to educate yourself so that you will not be deceived by things. There is a reason we Americans are to defend even our enemies Natural Rights, one of which is the Right to life. If you will not defend your enemies from harm, sooner or later that who was causing the harm will come for you. That is history, real history.
What lessons were learned from the great evils committed by Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Hitler, etc, etc, etc? One, there must be lines drawn that the people will not allow those who serve within governments (in our governments) to cross to make sure that democide never occurs here. But we are pretty much past that point in many places as we are today in a “police state”, while those who took the Oath (to support and defend the US Constitution, plus – for some others – their own state’s Constitution) and are required to keep it instead “just follow orders” and “just do their jobs” when the requirement of them (LE’s) and of those who serve at all levels of the military is to “Support and Defend” the US Constitution above and before the orders of superiors, and before the duties of the position they occupy.
The same is required of all Americans, to defend their neighbor as themselves, and this is required of us all as it strengthens protections of all of us.
No, she did NOT deserve to be murdered whatever her beliefs, particularly when she was so young, and her opinions, etc will change as should yours, as one matures. One does not believe or hold important the same things at age 10 as one does at age 18, etc. Your comment showed not only ignorance, but the incapability to reason, be logical. Please start strengthening these areas as they are needed, and that, for you, as can no longer be done by her, can be changed if you but put a tiny bit of effort into it.

Your comment is so naive. Why is got killed is irrelevant to my point. It is poetic justice that she got killed by an illegal immigrant, because people who think like her are responsible for the decline of the USA.
Do you think that Black Lives Matter give a shit about white victims of police violence? Every other group looks out for their interests whites are the only race that don’t.
