Has the Hagadon Corporation, the Daily Bee’s parent company, gone the direction of the Washington Post and the New York Times?
A few years ago, the Bee ran an article on a woman touting ABC, NBC, WPO, etc at the top of her reliable news source ratings. Unfortunately for her, shortly after the Covington Catholic High School incident occurred and then Savannah Guthrie attempted to guilt-trip Nicholas Sandmann. Subsequently, we learned that the early press releases were grossly incorrect and that out-of-court settlements were awarded to Mr Sandmann.
Now. The Bee devoted more than half a page, the back page, to a couple of AP employees touting their opinions about misinformation in the news. As is prevalent with socialist actors, they accuse several Republican state lawmakers in the US, including Heather Scott, of dangerous misleading comments, when in fact, those so-called reporters were actually misinforming their readers.
They state that the term “globalists” is widely considered to be an anti-Semitic slur”. Truly, a sneaky attempt to slander Ms Scott. The dictionary definition refers to the economic use of the word. Those writers probably know that. As is customary, they omit disclosure of their source for stating “widely”.
They also state that “The average number of COVID-19 cases is falling in Idaho, but the death toll has risen.” A look at the Idaho COVID-19 “Dashboard” reveals that the death toll has been falling since December, 2020. Once more, a clever distortion of a word.
