Shalena's Breakfast with Santa

Shalena’s Breakfast with Santa

From: Hauser Lake Fire Dist.

Every December the Hauser Lake Fire District holds its annual Shalena’s Breakfast with Santa. This fundraising event began in 1985 to raise money to help alleviate medical bills and family financial distress for the family of a Hauser Lake Volunteer Firefighter whose daughter was diagnosed with cancer. Even though Shalena lost her battle, her name lives on with the breakfast.

This event has since become an annual tradition. With help from Sacred Heart hospital, and local business and hopefully your help, proceeds will go to a family with a child with cancer. Sometimes these children are dealing with terminal illnesses.

This year our recipient is 17-year-old boy named Jacob who has Leukemia.
