Join us Saturday May 4, 2024 in Priest River for a Republican candidate forum. The Q&A Forum is at 12 noon at Trinity Baptist Church.

Saturday May 4, 2024 at 12 noon the Bonner County Republican party will host a candidate forum for all of the candidates who will appear on your May 4, 2024.

State legislative candidates include:

• State Senator Scott Herndon
• Jim Woodward, running for State Senate
• State Representative 1A Mark Sauter
• Spencer Hutchings running for State Rep 1A
• Jane Sauter running for State Rep 1A
• Cornel Rasor running for State Rep 1B
• Chuck Lowman running for State Rep 1B

County commissioner candidates include:

• Brian Domke running for County Commissioner D1
• Brian Riley running for County Commissioner D1
• County Commissioner D3 Luke Omodt
• Dimitry Borisov running for County Commissioner D3
• Ron Korn running for County Commissioner D3

County sheriff candidates:

• Sheriff Daryl Wheeler
• Steve Bradshaw running for Bonner County Sheriff

The forum will last until 2:30 PM, and then there will be some time to chat individually with candidates.

The location of the event is the Trinity Baptist Church at 180 Osprey Lane in Priest River.

Be on the lookout in your mail over the next couple of days for your official recommendations from the Bonner County Republican Central Committee. All of the candidates enjoyed a vigorous interview process with a team from the central committee, and then all of the candidates had the opportunity to answer questions of the full committee before the endorsement decisions were made by majority vote of the over 30 members of the committee.
