“The Gathering Storm”
(Once Again We are Approaching War)

As depicted in the memoirs of Winston Churchill “The Gathering Storm”, the history of the lead-up to WW2, is now repeating itself.
There are numerous events which led to WW2 that are very similar to current events taking place today, some are as follows;
- Evil corrupt men who dictatorially control a country seem to have an insatiable appetite to expand their empire. Hitler, Mussolini, and Hideki Tojo were far from content to just rule their country, and thus brought on WW2 by their invasions of countries they were convinced they could conquer. Today we have Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping, and Kim Jong Un with the same insatiable appetite to expand their empires. As we all know Putin has invaded Ukraine, Xi Jinping is on the verge of invading Taiwan, and Kim Jong Un continues to threaten the US with the use of nuclear missiles.
- In the lead-up to WW2 their were numerous treaties, national agreements, and alliances formed between various countries which were then discarded when one country perceived it lost an advantage over the other country. Today we see Xi Jinping traveling the world forming alliances with various countries who no longer see any advantage to be aligned with the US.
- When the countries such as Germany and Japan built up (prior to WW2) what they considered an invincible national army, they went to war to prove how formidable they were. They did not go to all the effort of building a large national army just to have parades, their egos led them into conflict. China is now in that same position.
Thus the world is now facing a gathering storm like it faced prior to WW2, with the
possibility that the conflict in Ukraine could be the beginning of WW3
