State Treasurer Ellsworth Brings Clarity to ESG

What is ESG? Environmental/Social/Governance is a new metric by which investment firms judge businesses. Rather than making sure they are profitable, they instead grade them on how much they support a left-wing social justice ideology. It sounds crazy, but it’s true!
Treasurer Ellsworth told a story of an Idaho firm that lost out on a bid for a job because their website wasn’t “diverse” enough and they did not introduce themselves with their “preferred pronouns.”
The end result of ESG is a Chinese-style social credit system, where things like purchasing firearms, using too much electricity, or making social media posts in favor of certain political groups could get you blacklisted from society. Thankfully, Julie Ellsworth is fighting to keep that from happening in Idaho.
