Levi Strauss Jumps On GUN CONTROL Bandwagon
Second Amendment:
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Michael Bloomberg has gained another big name in his quest to disarm the citizens of the United States. Levi Strauss has teamed up with Bloomberg’s controversial lobbyist group.
CEO and President Chip Bergh wrote in Fortune on Tuesday that the company “simply cannot stand by silently when it comes to issues that threaten the very fabric of the communities where we live and work.”
The blue jean manufacturer has donated more than $1 million to establish the Safer Tomorrow Fund. This group works with the Gabby Giffords group to disarm Americans.
They have also partnered with Everytown for Gun Safety to develop a branch called Everytown Business Leaders for Gun Safety. This is an organization that does not promote gun safety. Instead, they promote what they call “common-sense laws” which are designed to subvert the Second Amendment.
And, finally, they are promoting their politics in the workplace by offering double employee donation match for employees to donate to anti-gun causes, stating “we’re encouraging employees who are concerned about gun violence to get involved.”
Bergh goes on to say:
I’m not here to suggest we repeal the Second Amendment or to suggest that gun owners aren’t responsible. In fact, as a former U.S. Army officer, I took a solemn oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. But as retired four-star general Michael Hayden once said, “There are some weapons out there that frankly nobody should have access to. And actually, there are some people out there who should never have access to any weapons.”
Therefore, he claims to support the second amendment, but believes there are some people that should not have this right, as well as denying everyone access to select weapons. This does not seem to reflect “shall not be infringed”.
Bergh acknowledges that this position is controversial, but says, “And I’m convinced that while some will disagree with our stand to end gun violence, history will prove this position right too.“
Levi Strauss has shown in the past several decades that they will jump onboard with any current liberal policies, even to the point of producing ads that cannot be played in the United States due to their suggestive nature.
