BREAKING: Commissioner Served With TRO and Cannot Enter County Building

by Shari Dovale

Bonner County Commissioner Chairman Steve Bradshaw has been unable to hide his growing anger for Commissioner Asia Williams for several months.

During regular weekly business meetings he has repeatedly yelled at her, talked over her, tried to get her to stop talking, recessed the meetings because she has not followed his orders, and walked out of meetings without completing the agendas.

You can follow this escalation through the videos over the last 6 months.

Notice during the video in the previous article that Commissioner Williams did not return to the meeting after the recess. Many people are asking why.

Read on.

It is obvious that Bradshaw is very unhappy in his current position. He regularly complains, both during his weekly sermons as well as while serving as Commissioner, about the county citizens that he is supposed to represent.

Bradshaw Eliminates Representative Govt in Bonner County

At various times over the past months he has called his constituents reprobates, bacteria, stupid and lame, demanded they be jailed if he doesn’t like their comments, called public comment in general debauchery and foolishness, yelled obscenities during meetings, told taxpayers to “Kiss his A**,” and recently he demanded the police be called to clear a room so no one could have a discussion without him being present.

Bradshaw is self-proclaimed pastor and owner of Cocolalla Cowboy Church. He has screamed at taxpayers about him being a “Man of God” yet has a hard time acting like one.

Bradshaw Learns There ARE Consequences to His Behavior

Bradshaw took his vitriol to new levels this week.

This writer was told by sources inside the county administration that Bradshaw made verbal threats to “shoot” Commissioner Williams.

The verbal threats made by Bradshaw were reported to authorities, which launched an investigation as well as a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) being issued against Chairman Bradshaw.

Bradshaw was served without incident on Thursday, August 17th.

The TRO has been put into place until August 30th, at which time a judge will make a more permanent decision.

Currently, it is understood that Bradshaw cannot enter the county buildings and must conduct official business via zoom, this includes official meetings over which he presides.

It should be noted that Bradshaw and Omodt have both fought hard to keep all but the regular business meetings from being streamed, either via Zoom or via YouTube. This has been an ongoing battle between the 2 men and the public.

This is an unprecedented situation in this country, not just the state of Idaho. A sitting commissioner being served a TRO due to his vitriol towards another sitting commissioner is unheard of.

However, do not be distracted, as the safety of Asia Williams is a very serious concern. Chairman Bradshaw has continuously crossed the line believing that there are no consequences for him.

Everyone has consequences, and no one is above the law.

  1. Sounds like the man is suffering from borderline personality disorder. We went to his “church” to listen to his “sermon”. The Apostle Paul described the Fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23, and I see none of those traits in Bradshaw. God help his congregation!

  2. More proof positive that a petition for recall ballot is needed for Bradshaw and Omodt.
Bradshaw is not mentally capable of the position he holds and Omodt is the blind following the blind.

    • If only it could work. Many of us wanted to do a recall in January. But based on the number of votes in his last election, it would be next to impossible to recall him. He needs to resign for the good of the county.

      • Unfortunately, I doubt the good of the county doesn’t even make the top ten on his list of concerns. Maybe, a number of voters are feeling voter’s remorse? I hope so!
