MORE DOXXING:
WA State House Publishes Private SSNs

by Shari Dovale

We have already reported that the Washington State House Representatives have doxxed many in the Law Enforcement community by publishing their personal information.

In the ongoing saga of the Left’s unceasing hit job on the people of Washington, the House Representative‘ s have done the unthinkable, they have released private information for law enforcement officers (LEO).

Continuing our investigation of the documents released, we are bringing light to the darkness of this partisan opposition research funded by the taxpayers.

The latest is finding in the same list of exhibits, social security numbers, published by the Washington House of Representatives.

Washington Code, RCW 42.56.230 specifically outlines what is, and is not, allowed to be made public.

(5) Credit card numbers, debit card numbers, electronic check numbers, card expiration dates, or bank or other financial information as defined in RCW 9.35.005 including social security numbers, except when disclosure is expressly required by or governed by other law;

Redoubt News has the screen shots of the published social security numbers, and phone numbers, and  we are willing to turn over the evidence to the people named. I say this in case the Dems in the Washington House, or even JT Wilcox, the House Minority Leader, decides to do the right thing and redact this information.

Yes, more than one person has had their social security number published by the State of Washington, and now are under threat of having their identity stolen.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) both address ‘Identity Theft’ as a crime on their websites, however, what relief does a person have when it is the State government that initiates the possibility of this crime happening?

The National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) website explains that it is a felony in Washington to improperly obtain someone’s financial information.

Does this apply to the Legislators in the State of Washington?

We have spoken to one of the people affected by this doxxing. Pete Santilli is one of those that had their Social Security Number publicly posted by the Washington House Representatives. When informed of this breach and shown the documents, Santilli was angry and said, “I am going to pursue every legal remedy!”

Stay tuned. I am sure there is more from the SHAMpart Report.

  1. A couple years ago, the IRS requested a call from us, because of a typo in the “Social Security” number of one of our kids. During the call, with an “agent” (corporate person), the “agent” asked my wife for my DOB. When my wife asked me for my DOB (just to be sure she gave correct info), the “agent” came unglued, saying stuff about “I.D. theft” and how this was being escalated, etc… making a “federal case” out of it.

What the Leftists did, to Pete (and whomever else), should require the entire FBI to come running to OLY!

  2. SHERI, The game becomes who released what and who had it and then who gave it away. As this sits the claim is that Matt accessed sensetive and private information, without authorization, and released it to do harm to LEO personnel. Not, thet the information was accessable on State and Legislature documents and files. THAT CLARIFICATION MUST BE MADE. There is at least one LEO that I know that would do this just to harm Matt.

  3. 42 U.S. Code § 408. Penalties
    Whoever….
    (8) discloses, uses, or compels the disclosure of the social security number of any person in violation of the laws of the United States; or
    (9) conspires to commit any offense described in any of paragraphs (1) through (4),
shall be guilty of a felony and upon conviction thereof shall be fined under title 18 or imprisoned for not more than five years, or both, except that in the case of a person who receives a fee or other income for services performed in connection with any determination with respect to benefits under this subchapter (including a claimant representative, translator, or current or former employee of the Social Security Administration), or who is a physician or other health care provider who submits, or causes the submission of, medical or other evidence in connection with any such determination, such person shall be guilty of a felony and upon conviction thereof shall be fined under title 18, or imprisoned for not more than ten years, or both.
