Speaker of the House, Representative Nancy Pelosi has commented about the need to control what is said on the Internet, especially in social media. Some corporate officers seem willing to bend to her demands. We are not going to stand idly by as our rights are slowly surrendered. Unfortunately, many elected officials seem to easily forget that the government’s role is to protect the rights of the public to freely exchange information. That requires a free press and the freedom to exchange information in many formats.

“Virtually every amendment has come under attack and while the Second Amendment is often the most obvious amendment being attacked it is not the only one. Our freedom of speech, freedom of the press, the freedom to associate with one another and many other freedoms protected in the Bill of Rights are under attack by others. I didn’t spend time in combat bringing freedom to Iraq only to lose it here at home,” said Allen Acosta.

Join us on April 27th, take a stand and march for our rights. Speakers will include various elected officials, community leaders and activists. Speakers will be available at the media tent to answer questions.

10:30 a.m. March to the Capital, starting at Sylvester Park in Olympia (15min walk) to the Capital, 12:00 Event at the Capitol begins.
