Since Sheriff Sprungl came out and announced that he is running for re-election I have had a considerable amount of people that were known strong supporters of his coming to me and telling me that they would be giving me their vote of confidence on 17 May for a number of reasons.
I would like to say that I take supporters at face value, unfortunately, some people have made it painfully clear that this is a game to them.
I announced 3 years ago so people could truly get to know me. Know that I am not into games, this is something I live.
My dedication to the community and the position of Sheriff is that of a very high degree.
My plans are to bring a higher level of quality service to this community.
I will conduct myself in an honorable manner, even when people want to play games when it comes to one of the most noble positions still around. That being the office of Sheriff.
There are times that the Sheriff needs to stand up and make the harsh decisions. The Sheriff must not be more concerned with their public image than they are for the people in their community.
I feel that as long as the Sheriff is treating people with equality, 24/7/365 then they have over half the battle won.
This is another thing you get with me.
