Each candidate will be given 10 minutes for their presentation and questions from the audience.
This is one of the few forums this election cycle so please take time to attend and learn more about our Republican candidates. Let us know you are coming, bcrwinc.com, 208-946-0510, or simply reply to this email, thanks!
Bylaw Vote
BCRWI voting members will be voting whether to accept the new bylaws. The bylaw changes have been sent out to all of our voting members and ballots will be handed out by Michelle at the Membership Table. As clarified at our September meeting, voting members are those that have paid 2016 membership dues. Lapsed members who renewed last month will have voting privileges starting in January 2017.
Giving Tree
As most of you know the BCRWI has an annual Giving Tree in November. We choose a local organization to support with our tree. We will have a small Christmas tree set up, and empty Giving Tree Envelopes for our members and guests to fill will with donations and hang on the tree to support the chosen organization. The group to receive the donations from our annual Giving Tree will be announced at the October meeting, and we will have some very special guests to introduce themselves.
Raffle Basket
The weather has turned cold and soggy and I see snow on the Cabinet Mountains as I sit here in my home office. Robin’s Raffle Basket this month will be filled with all of your favorite comfort foods to enjoy on the cold autumn days. Raffle tickets are one dollar each or six for $5, so bring a little extra cash to help support our organization, and you might win a basket of goodies!
That’s it for now. Please let me know as soon as possible if you can attend the meeting so we can plan room set up and refreshments.
