The Taliban were known to publicly execute, gang rape, behead, burn alive, and commit horrible atrocities against civilian men, women, and children. After looking around our beautiful city and seeing nothing but friends, smiling faces, various people I know and love from all walks of life, I concluded that the mayor is delusional, paranoid, and mentally unfit for public service.
Shelby’s baseless hostile labeling of Christian conservatives as comparable to the Taliban should be reviewed for ethical misconduct at a very minimum. I am concerned his judgment is clouded by bigotry and hatred which will affect any rational decision making.
The sweet irony of Shelby’s international public display of idiocy is that it will draw in more Christian conservatives to our region.
