Syrian Refugees Quietly Enter Idaho
by Shari Dovale
While everyone was distracted with watching Burns, Oregon and other news, the Obama administration quietly flew about 200 refugees into Boise, Idaho. They arrived on Monday, February 1, 2016.
This information was confirmed to me by two different, and separate, sources.
Yes, despite everyone’s belief that Gov. Butch Otter has stood with the conservative citizens of Idaho and refused to allow the refugees into the state, they are here.
You can read Otter’s full letter here.
Several counties in Idaho have passed resolutions against the refugee resettlement program being pushed by the Obama administration. Beginning with Bonner County, multiple counties have publicly stated they do not want to spend their funds to support a program that is dangerous to the citizens.
FBI Director James Comey told Senate lawmakers that “gaps” remained in the U.S.’s ability to screen the refugees, because of a lack of intelligence on the ground in Syria.
In November, Paris was hit with a series of coordinated attacks by refugees on the people in France. There were 130 people killed in those attacks.
On December 2, 2015, gunmen opened fire at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California. Police said there at least 14 people killed and 17 people wounded.
Rep. Pete King (R-NY), a member of the Homeland Security Committee and Chairman of the Sub-Committee on Counterterrorism and Intelligence, said unequivocally that we cannot adequately vet the “refugees” from Syria—a perspective shared by top-level members of the intelligence community.
Currently, over half of governors have pushed back against President Obama’s announcement that he was moving forward with his goal of importing at least 10,000 Syrian “refugees” despite the devastating terror attacks in Paris, which involved at least one terrorist who posed as a Syrian refugee to enter Europe.
The Citizens of Idaho need to ask Butch Otter why he has allowed these refugees to enter the Gem State.
