Vets Stumble on Child Sex Trafficking Camp

Veterans on Patrol (VOP) is a group dedicated to helping homeless veterans. During a standard check for these vets along I-19 in the desert near Tucson, Arizona, they happened upon what first appeared to be an abandoned homeless camp. Upon further investigation, they realized the site appeared to be a holding area for children sold as sex slaves.

The group found several suspicious and disturbing things, like trees that had restraints on them, a crib, a stroller, in addition to hair dye, an outdoor bathroom and pornographic material, as reported by Tucson News Now.

VOP notified Craig Sawyer, founder of Veterans For Child Rescue, who inspected the site and found it even more disturbing than first thought. In the following video, Sawyer shows what is believed to be a “Rape Tree”.

They did not find anyone at this location, though they estimated it had been used in the previous 10 days. “In fact there’s another one nearby that they found that they are already digging with fresh tools and fresh dirt,” according to Sawyer. 

An underground chamber was located on site, in which it appeared to be a jail set up for small children.

Sawyer said he has “heard of rooms full of kids in houses and basements and things like that,” as part of his research into the problem of child sex trafficking “but nothing underground like this.” Veterans For Child Rescue (V4CR) is a non-profit organization founded by Craig Sawyer that combats Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking.
