Irreparable Damage
By Pete Ketcham
Through the years the Democrats have left the Republicans with some very difficult issues/problems to deal with at the end of their four year election cycle, but this election cycle they have created and left a potential national problem that is irreparable.
That problem is the invasion by ten to twelve million undocumented illegal aliens from the world over. Many are convicted criminals, deadly gang members, terrorist, and drug dealers.
The gangs from South America such as MS-13, Tren De Aragua, and the Mexican drug cartels are establishing a growing footprint in the nation as they increase their illegal activities of robberies, murder, rape, sex trafficking, extortion, etc. The city governments are failing in their efforts to deal with this crime issue, as many in these gangs are teenagers subject only to our flawed juvenile justice system which puts them back on the street within hours after being arrested.
It is just not gang members that is causing city crime to rise, but illegal criminals released from foreign prisons with the stipulation they immigrate to the US.
In addition to the criminal element of this invasion that is creating irreparable damage to our nation, there are millions upon millions of undocumented illegal aliens that the taxpayers are required to provide free housing, food, medical care, school, and other benefits for. This social and financial burden on the taxpayer runs into the billions, and simply can not be sustained indefinitely. When the taxpayer funding does run out, there is a good possibility there will be a increase in chaos and crime as these individuals attempt to survive by any means available.
Conclusion
Republican presidential candidate Trump claims that if elected he will deport all the gang members, criminals, and others. This will require a huge amount of resources and political cooperation that may be very difficult to obtain.
It is not a matter of deploying the national guard or military (as some have indicated) and indiscriminately “scooping up” individuals and removing them from the country.
Trump will be dealing with a complex legal procedure to determine if an individual can be deported. It then requires ICE to effect the physical deportation after a immigration Judge makes a determination. This is a expensive and time consuming process, but at the present time this is the law that Trump must deal with.
In addition to these difficulties, the Democrat party and the news media will (as usual) do all in their power to thwart Trump’s efforts.
In the event Harris wins the election the immigration nightmare will continue, and only God knows how it is all going to end, but in any event the damage will be irreparable.
