Dealing With Hamas

At this time it seems impossible for Israel to reach a cease fire peace agreement with Hamas, that Hamas would actually honor,
Historically, warring nations have on occasions been able to reach cease fires and peace agreements based on mutual goals and objectives, but the goals of Israel and Hamas are worlds apart with little chance of Israel being able to get the remaining hostages back alive.
Hamas members have been instructed since childhood to hate all Jews, and that their life’s goal should be to kill all the Jews they can. Thus they have become brutal, merciless, dedicated killers that are beyond any possibility of being reasoned with, as the only thing they seem to respond to is a force that is stronger than them.
Also, they have no regard for the lives of their own Palestinian people who they use as human shields in their combat operations. Because of this the Israel IDF try to take out the members of Hamas hiding among the civilian population without the collateral damage of killing innocent Palestinians citizens, but unfortunately the destruction and death among the innocent Palestinians has been far to great, and somehow must end.
Conclusion
Israel wishes to peaceably live side by side with all their neighboring nations, including the Palestinians in Gaza, but Hamas has one sole desire, and that is to destroy Israel by any means available.
It is extremely difficult to be able to forecast how this current conflict with Hamas and the other proxies of Iran (Hezbollah) and Iran itself is going to turn out for Israel. But there is one thing that does seems certain, if Hamas, or even a remnant is allowed to exist, they have said in no uncertain terms they will repeat the massacre of October 7, 2023 when they are militarily strong again.
