Silence Is Consent
And BCRCC Is A Shining Example!

Silence is consent, and the silence of the Bonner County Republican Central Committee (BCRCC) is deafening. Have they lost all credibility?
In the 2022 Republican primary, the committee could not come to a consensus on an endorsement for District 3 County Commissioner, and Luke Omodt fell into the position because the vote was split by 5 candidates. For the last 15 months we have witnessed his brand of tyranny where public comment is a constant tug-of-war, and the silencing of a duly elected Commissioner Willams appears to be his obsession.
When public comment was arbitrarily removed from the Board of Commissioner’s meeting, several members of the BCRCC brought forth a petition to censure Omodt and Bradshaw. But the committee cowered and failed. If the committee had the necessary fortitude to approve the censure at that time, Omodt could have been facing the loss of his “R” with this subsequent platform offense of further depriving First Amendment rights, trespassing citizens, and conducting a citizen’s arrest.
But why hasn’t any member of the BCRCC addressed the recent trespasses by Omodt and Bradshaw? Under the current leadership of Scott Herndon, there has been no attempt to censure, no resolution of no-confidence, no public statement, not even a strongly worded letter of condemnation. Not a peep. Again, I say – silence is consent.
Not to worry though, you will hear from them when they want you to spend $125 for a ticket to their fundraising dinner so they can spend your money on candidates prechosen by an outside private club.

As a result of their actions the “packed” BCRCC committee now finds itself under attack as a slate of RINOs/Democrats have filed to run in their precincts to take control of the committee.
Also silent are the commissioner candidates, with the exception of Dimitry Borisov. Dimitry has attend most commissioner meetings in person and has routinely spoken on subjects during public comment.
There is a battle brewing for the soul of Bonner County. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” – Edmund Burke.
This is going to be an interesting election cycle.
