Identifying Satan’s 5th Column
by Shari Dovale
The alarming upsurge of hostility toward Christians in America can no longer be ignored. In a country founded on religious freedom, the multiple attacks on Christianity has become the norm, and acceptable.
Regular Christians are no longer welcome in the current social climate, calling them Christian Nationalists, and attacking them as “haters” and “Bigots” if they do not comply with the Marxists mandates of same-sex marriage, transgenderism, abortion, and so forth.
The overwhelming rise of attacks on Christians can only be attributed to Satan’s 5th Column.
A 5th column is a group which operates in secret in order to help further a cause which they secretly support. These are people who infiltrate positions of trust and influence.
The Fifth Column is a term that is usually credited to Emilio Mola Vidal, a Nationalist general during the Spanish Civil War (1936–39). As four of his army columns moved on Madrid, the general referred to his militant supporters within the capital as his “fifth column,” intent on undermining the loyalist government from within.
It is defined more generally as any group of hostile or subversive infiltrators, any enemy in one’s midst. In other words: The Enemy Within.
The 5th Column uses what the KGB termed active measures (influence operations) as part of political warfare. These influence operations are aimed at winning the battle of narratives and ideas in the public mind.
You can easily identify 5th Column Operators through characteristics such as:
- Create confusion of terms & language
- Sow fear, rumor, & distrust of traditionally solid institutions & ideas (i.e. Church, Patriotism, Nationalism)
- Plant disinformation (false statements) to muddy the water of debate resulting in public indecision
- Attack those who most effectively oppose them and the false narrative, the objective being political paralysis
- Foment division in otherwise strong groups and organizations
- Demoralize constantly those who would stand against them by emphasizing defeats and the impossibility of victory
An example of this would be a supposed Christian aligning with an atheist to attack Christians, such as Phil Vischer, the co-creator of the popular faith-based children’s cartoon series “Veggie Tales,” who teamed up with known atheist Rob Reiner to criticize Christians in Reiner’s hate-filled movie, “God and Country: The Rise of Christian Nationalism.”
This example is a large-scale operation, yet these same principles are being implemented on smaller scales, as well. Local attacks are common, though not always published on the national level.
An example of a local attack includes supposed Christians that are sowing division using communist talking points to attack effective leaders and Christian organizations in North Idaho through their own movie, discussed here:
UnBlurring the Lines of Christian Nationalism
North Idaho has long been known as a stronghold of Christian Patriotic Americans. It is the Heart of the American Redoubt, and under constant attack by Communists that view it as a threat to their attempted color revolution.
Consider as well that the dates these two “movies” debut is very close, thereby suggesting some level of coordination.
Take additional note that the oddest line of the North Idaho video says
“if there is World War III, and if the Christian Nationalists take power, then…”
This seems to be a key piece of insight. They are planning World War III and fear those that love Jesus & America will stand against them.
Jesus Was A Nationalist
I do not, in any way, claim to be a biblical scholar. However, I am a biblical student and strive to study scripture and understand the Word. I put these questions to Pastor Shea at On Fire Ministries, and he explains:
Jesus created nations.
Genesis 10. God spoke through His Spirit to the nations.
Acts 2. Jesus spoke His law to the nations.
Matthew 25:32-33. Jesus commands us to make disciples of all nations and teach them to obey His Commands.
Matthew 28:18-20. Jesus expects nations to become disciples and produce fruit according to His Will and Commands.
Therefore, Jesus is not only a nationalist He holds nations to account for disobedience.
A Christian Nationalist then, by definition, is one who wants their particular nation to obey the will and commands of Christ producing spiritual fruit.
When you align with atheists to undermine central teachings of the church like “make disciples of all nations” and “obey His Commands” it is at the very best a betrayal and the very worst apostasy.
Furthermore, appropriating a communist attack narrative to undermine the church is literally raising the banner of the communists against your brothers and sisters.
Communism is rooted in satanism.

“A Christian Nationalist then, by definition, is one who wants their particular nation to obey the will and commands of Christ producing spiritual fruit.”
So then why do so many Christians fail to follow the 10 commandments, in which God said “REMEMBER THE SABBATH” but instead choose to “rest on Sunday”.
Most Christians are blind to the real Jesus but follow a false “European Jesus” (blue eyes, brown hair, white skin – not someone who grew up in/around Israel of the Bible).
