BREAKING: Comrade Omodt Locks Electeds Out of County IT Systems

Luke Omodt has decided that his tyrannical over reach against another Commissioner and against the public was not quite enough for him.

The county has already received notice of anticipated litigation due to the trespass of individuals by Comrade Omodt.

Since he seems to truly believe that everything in the county is under his tight control, this must include all of the other elected officials. Kommandant Omodt has taken control of the County Information/Technology (IT) systems, not only for the Commissioner side of the system, but for the Law Enforcement side of the system, as well.

Omodt was out of the office for the week of February 12^th. On that day, it was discovered that Luke had ordered the IT Director, Jacob Storms, to lock out the IT Deputy for the law side of the county records.

This was a unilateral move on the part of Comrade Dictator, and cut access to sensitive materials from the people that are legally responsible to safeguard the information.

Luke was told to restore the access, and get himself out of it, repeatedly by multiple people, including Bill Wilson, attorney for the County.

Omodt refused.

Luke has taken it upon himself to place the county in another legally precarious position. There is now another lawsuit being threatened, this time by county officials against Luke Omodt.

There is no statutory authority for him to touch the sensitive and privileged information that was under the control of the Prosecutor’s Office, the Sheriff’s Department and the Coroner’s office.

This information includes active criminal and death investigations, as well as victim’s information. It is highly sensitive in nature and protected under law.

Yet, Comrade Big Boss Man unilaterally decided to usurp all of this authority and commanded IT Director Jacob Storms to cut the access from these elected officials and their designated deputies. Now, Storms and Comrade Omodt could access all of these records without permission, manipulate these records, and even conceivably alter them.

The County Prosecutor, Louis Marshall wrote a Cease and Desist letter to Omodt, dated February 21, 2024, demanding that Omodt take immediate corrective action, or face legal proceedings in the Bonner County District Court to correct this Abuse of Power.

The Cease and Desist letter was signed by three elected officials, In addition to Prosecutor Marshall, it was signed by Sheriff Daryl Wheeler and Coroner Robert Beers.

This is certainly one way to handle the situation, however, as a question of law, is it now appropriate for the Sheriff to arrest this usurper for Breaking The Law?

I seem to recall that it was PAC influence over the BCRCC that undermined the endorsement of a conservative for this race which gave us King Omodt. When they had a chance to censure Omodt – they failed. Obvious to me the BCRCC/PAC supports this tyranny.

But I’m sure we have nothing to worry about. the Bonner County Republican Central Committee, wait, wait I mean PAC, will rally their cult and apply the necessary pressure to oust Omodt and make sure justice prevails for the citizens of Bonner county. Crud, what am I saying. Scott and Cornel have been supporting Luke ‘behind the scenes’. And Eza ands Scott hate the Sheriff. Oh well, guess that leaves all the hard work of exposing these shenanigans’ to the actual conservatives that love this county.
So if you are a real conservative that loves our county, the rule of law, and doing what is right, the lines have been drawn in fluorescent ink now.
Support evil team Omodt trying to silence and grift the citizens of Bonner County or support Sheriff Wheeler and Commissioner Williams trying to bring transparency and fairness back to Bonner county.
