The Seeds Of Antisemitism

Surprisingly enough, the seeds of antisemitism were sown centuries before there was a Semite, or even Abraham, for that matter.

They were sown back in the Garden of Eden after the sin of the man and woman where the Lord God promised that from the “seed of the woman” would come one who would “bruise the head” of the serpent (Satan) (Genesis 3: 15 And I will make enemies Of you and the woman, And of your offspring and her Descendant; He shall bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise Him on the heel.”).

Here, the promise of God and the search by Satan to find and eliminate this descendant begins.

As God reveals more and more of who this coming descendant will be, so Satan intensifies his search to find and destroy those from whom the seed of this person would come.

The Gospel of Matthew Chapter 1 delineates the genealogy of Yeshua (Jesus):

1 This is the genealogy of Jesus the Messiah the son of David, the son of Abraham: 2 Abraham was the father of Isaac, Isaac the father of Jacob, Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers, 3 Judah the father of Perez and Zerah, whose mother was Tamar, Perez the father of Hezron, Hezron the father of Ram, 4 Ram the father of Amminadab, Amminadab the father of Nahshon, Nahshon the father of Salmon, 5 Salmon the father of Boaz, whose mother was Rahab, Boaz the father of Obed, whose mother was Ruth, Obed the father of Jesse, 6 and Jesse the father of King David. David was the father of Solomon, whose mother had been Uriah’s wife, 7 Solomon the father of Rehoboam, Rehoboam the father of Abijah, Abijah the father of Asa, 8 Asa the father of Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat the father of Jehoram, Jehoram the father of Uzziah, 9 Uzziah the father of Jotham, Jotham the father of Ahaz, Ahaz the father of Hezekiah, 10 Hezekiah the father of Manasseh, Manasseh the father of Amon, Amon the father of Josiah, 11 and Josiah the father of Jeconiah[c] and his brothers at the time of the exile to Babylon. 12 After the exile to Babylon: Jeconiah was the father of Shealtiel, Shealtiel the father of Zerubbabel, 13 Zerubbabel the father of Abihud, Abihud the father of Eliakim, Eliakim the father of Azor, 14 Azor the father of Zadok, Zadok the father of Akim, Akim the father of Elihud, 15 Elihud the father of Eleazar, Eleazar the father of Matthan, Matthan the father of Jacob, 16 and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, and Mary was the mother of Jesus who is called the Messiah.

If anywhere along this lineage and their descendants Satan were able to destroy the progenitors of Yeshua, then he would stop the First Coming of the Messiah, the Redeemer of mankind and his “head would not be bruised.”

So, what if Abraham were killed in the wars that he fought? Then there would be no Messiah! If Judah did not impregnate his daughter in law Tamar? Then no Messiah! If pharaoh would have destroyed the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacobs descendants? Then no Messiah! If Nebuchadnezzar would have destroyed the Jewish people? Then no Messiah!

Get it? Destroy the progenitors of the Messiah and STOP the First Coming!

So, once the Messiah came lived a perfect, holy life, and died for our sins on the Cross the “job” of the Jewish people was over and they are no longer needed. Right?

Well, not quite! They are still needed and without them the Messiah Yeshua would not return in power and great glory in His Second Coming!

“How so?” You ask.

Well, let’s look at what Yeshua says as He looks down on Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives for the last time before His sacrifice on the Cross:

Matthew 23:37 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who have been sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling. 38 Behold, your house is being left to you desolate! 39 For I say to you, from now on you will not see Me until you say, ‘Blessed is the One who comes in the name of the Lord!’”

Look carefully at the text and let’s see who Jesus is speaking to: the people of Jerusalem. These people are the Jewish people! In particular, from the context of the preceding passages here in Matthew 23, they are the UNBELIEVING Jewish people of the city!

He is saying to THEM [the JEWISH non-believers in Him. NOT to Gentiles, NOT to Christians] “YOU will NOT see ME until YOU SAY…”

So, let me ask you a question: WHAT IF there are NO Jewish people living in JERUSALEM? What if ALL the Jewish people were eliminated by Rome? What if they were ALL eliminated by the various pogroms and holocausts from the First Century onward? What if they were ALL eliminated by the Nazis? And currently, WHAT if Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Arab world destroys them ALL completely?

Would there be ANY Jews in Jerusalem to say the words, “Blessed in the One who comes in the name of the Lord”?

Remember, for around 2000 years from the First Century there were not many Jewish people in Jerusalem to say these words and thus, we have the reason why Jesus has not come back yet.

For Jesus to be the Messiah and destroy Satan, He needs to be a true prophet. If His words do NOT come to pass, then He is NOT a true prophet and He is a liar and we should NOT believe in Him!

Fortunately, He IS the Messiah. He IS a true prophet, and He WILL come back as He said! For that to happen, we NEED Jewish people in Israel and particularly JERUSALEM!

NOW you know WHY there is antisemitism in the world and recently you can see why it is so prevalent world-wide!

Satan has deceived the masses in the world into working for him. They are promoting the destruction of the Jewish people because Satan does NOT want the Jewish people in the world to be able to call back the Messiah!

In reality, antisemitism is anti-God, not just any god, but the God of the Bible! The God of BOTH Jews AND Christians!

Just a brief word on the side before I go on. ISLAM will gladly behead BOTH Jews AND Christians!

Revelation 20:4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
