Politics Are Necessary
But Are Not The Solution
By Pete Ketcham
It was evident at the conclusion of the recent Republican primary presidential debate, that not one comment concerning the moral destruction by the LGBTQ movement was mentioned, either by the hosts or the participants. Also, the Trump campaign has not addressed this issue either.
This LGBTQ movement is tremendously impacting our education system, the medical profession, the legal system, the political arena, and numerous other areas. Yet all the Republican presidential candidates are silent concerning this issue.
Although politics play an important part in the nations future, it is the moral base of the nation that determines where the nation goes. This fact has been demonstrated by the actions of many entities such as the LGBTQ movement, the entertainment industry, the present education system, the mainstream news media, and others. As a result of these actions this nation is morally deteriorating at a tremendous rate.
During Trump’s term in office the national school system continued to teach ungodly moral concepts, the entertainment industry continued it’s production of porn, and the influence of the LGBTQ movement grew prodigiously, yet many in the conservative community still believe that the “political process” is the way to change the moral course of the nation.
And lastly, the Republican candidates all claim they will control the border, fix the economy, initiate an effective foreign policy, overhaul the education system, and on it goes. Unfortunately everything good they may do can be undone in just a matter of weeks by a seceding administration. This fact was demonstrated by Biden issuing numerous executive orders in his first week in office.
Although the political process is important in the future course of the nation, it is simply not the solution to the social depravity that is overwhelming our nation. It would appear that only with the help and guidance of God, can the God-fearing community bring this nation back to it’s founding Christian principles, as the Republican party has demonstrated it is incapable of doing so.
