Parental Rights and Traditional Family Values

WBCSD has equal or more money per student in their budgets than other Idaho HS Districts that have thriving sport programs

Parental Rights and Traditional Family Values

This WBCSD recall campaign is about whether residents of the district who believe in parental rights and traditional family values get to have a say in how their children are educated and their tax money is spent or a small group of people who don’t share the values of the residents, get to maintain control of an entire taxing district for their own benefit and to push their woke agendas.

Ever since the district elected a conservative majority board a little more than a year ago, the woke Priest Lake liberals that have controlled the district for years have been fighting conservative reform tooth and nail. They have been resisting Susan Brown’s attempts to force financial transparency by ignoring her requests to turn over financial documents. They have been assassinating Kathy Nash’s character for pointing out major red flags in the public records that are available. They have been trying to drive out the conservative Superintendents that the board has hired with coordinated smear attacks against Jackie Branum, and plots against Branden Durst, who Bonner County, just over a year ago, voted almost 2 to 1 to elect as the Republican nominee for Superintendent of Public Instruction for the entire State of Idaho.

This recall effort is a desperate measure to win back control of a school district that is finally starting to see the administrative reforms that will set it on the right path towards improving the educational outcomes for its children. Don’t be fooled by those promoting the recall and are saying Susan Brown and Keith Rutledge will cause school sports to be cancelled. Football in Idaho generally take in more money than it costs despite the cost of transportation, field maintenance, equipment and uniforms, and coaches’ pay and security, is normally paid for by individual school districts budgets. If you support a levy and believe that sports must be cancelled without it, you are mistaken. The WBCSD has equal or more money per student in their budgets than other Idaho HS Districts that have thriving sport programs, but Bonner County residents are not allowed to review how the taxpayers money is being spent.

Priest Lake liberals want to divide and conquer us and take us back to the system of ever increasing taxing and spending for poor performance and poor educational outcomes for the district’s children. And are doing this under the name of For the children.
