BOCC CommissionMEN’s Propaganda

For the past 2 weeks, BOCC Chairman Steve Bradshaw has reinforced his communist views of disallowing the public any input with the business of Bonner County.

He has read his own version of what the law means into the record and recessed each meeting within minutes of calling it to order. He then waits until ten o’clock am to begin the meeting and does not allow for any public comment.

This is in direct contradiction of the spirit of the laws in Idaho and this country, and is in direct contradiction of governing a republic as the founders intended.

It is also in direct contradiction of his own campaigning on “Transparency” during each of his elections, including the failed gubernatorial election just last year. 

As per his own actions, Luke Omodt is in complete agreement with Bradshaw’s conduct.

Commissioner Asia Williams has attempted to include the public each week, with Bradshaw visibly annoyed at her dissent of his tyranny.

Williams held the first open public comment period on Tuesday, July 11th at 8 am, prior to the regular business meeting. She intends to do so again this week on Tuesday, July 18th. The county has taken to calling these sessions: Commissioner Williams Community Chat

The public knows they have an advocate in Commissioner Williams, and equally know that the 2 CommissionMEN are actively working against them. Hence, Williams makes every attempt to bring their concerns to the board, yet Bradshaw, backed up by Omodt, shuts down this input every chance he gets.

This is just more of the ongoing Drama that the 2 men are putting the county taxpayers through. Another example of this scandalous behavior is Luke Omodt crying about threats made to the 2 CommissionMEN just a few weeks ago.

If a credible threat is made against these public officials, there would have to be a police report filed. Otherwise, it is just a liberal propaganda trick to attempt to influence the public against the facts.

Due to these allegations, a resident of the county filed a public records request, asking for the following:

Please provide all documents related to “life threats” received by and provided by any member of the BoCC to any police department in Bonner County, since Jan 1 2023.

The response was very short and simple:

The records you seek do not exist.

So did Luke Omodt “exaggerate” or simply attempt to deceive the public? Did he actually receive any legitimate or credible threat? Or is he completely uneducated as to what constitutes a threat?

We do know that the propaganda games these men play will not end soon. As we have continued to document, these men get angry anytime their agenda is defeated.
