Can It Get Better?

There is an old adage that says “things will get worse before they get better”, but Is that adage true concerning this nation? Is it possible that after the Democrats continue to destroy every thing they touch, and impose numerous hardships on the entire national population (excepting the woke wealthy elites), would the people wake up and remove the Democrats from political power and office?
It would seem that the breakdown of the justice system in the larger Democrat controlled cities (Portland, Seattle, LA, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, and others) resulting in increasing out of control crime would eventfully motivate the citizens to remove the Democrat mayors & council members from office. At present the only motivation/action that we see from the citizens of these cities, is to complain and tolerate the chaos, reelect Democrats, or move away. Using these city examples as a precursor to future action, it is difficult to envision a situation where the citizens will wake up in time. It just looks like it is going to be a future situation of “to little, to late”
Moving from the national issues, our nation’s future is not isolated from international actions of other nations of the world. There is a growing possibility that an all-out war with China concerning Taiwan, and the current proxy war with Russia could evolve from conventional war into a nuclear conflict that could literally destroy all nations involved. At that point it would be irrelevant which party was in control of what was left of our nation, and the issues that are currently dividing the nation today would become moot.
But how ever it all ends up, it would seem it is going continue to get worse, and doubtful it is going to get any better in the near future.
