God is Clearly Winning!

The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) has been hitting their opinions out of the park, and the world is spinning. Progressive Extremists continue to lose their minds, promoting child killing, assassination of the Justices, and more. Christians are cheering and celebrating.
States Have the Right to Decide the Abortion Issue
After 50 years, the country got a high court that was not afraid to say that Roe v Wade was unconstitutional. No, they did not stop abortions. All they did was to send that issue back to the individual states to decide. We are pleased that many states have decided to ban abortion, yet it is still being allowed in Deep Blue jurisdictions.
The outrage and protesting by the extremists on the left not only show their ignorance of the law, but they are promoting child sacrifice and death, while simultaneously encouraging the lack of morals that started this decades-long crisis. If they are concerned about not being able to kill babies in the womb, then maybe they shouldn’t promote immoral and wanton sexual behavior.
Of course, this will be countered by those citing rape and incest. However, these folks do not discuss the small amount of cases that these include. Just 1% of women obtain an abortion because they became pregnant through rape, and less than 0.5% do so because of incest, according to the Guttmacher Institute. We suggest that the left-of-center radicals start looking at adoption as the more viable alternative.
Standing Up For the Second Amendment
In the case of New York State Rifle & Pistol Assn., Inc. v. Bruen, The State of New York attempted to force individuals to “demonstrate a special need for self-protection distinguishable from that of the general community” before being issued a concealed carry license. In other words, if you want a concealed carry permit, you have to show a greater fear of danger than most people. This would fit for the high-profile and notorious, but not for the average American.
The Supreme Court recognized our constitutionally protected right to carry a handgun in public for self-defense: “New York’s proper-cause requirement violates the Fourteenth Amendment in that it prevents law-abiding citizens with ordinary self-defense needs from exercising their right to keep and bear arms.“
The Court did not stop there. Reuters reports that in the days following that monumental ruling, the Court has thrown out several lower court rulings that had upheld gun restrictions including bans on assault-style rifles in Maryland and large-capacity ammunition magazines in New Jersey and California.
Contesting the term “assault weapon” as an inaccurate “political term,” the Maryland plaintiffs said that assault weapons cannot be outright banned because they are in “common use” by millions of law abiding individuals, just like the handguns at issue in the landmark 2008 Supreme Court ruling striking down a ban on the firearms in the U.S. capital.
The justices sent back to lower courts other rulings upholding bans in New Jersey and California on firearm magazines with more than 10 rounds of ammunition. The challenges in those cases were filed by state affiliates of the National Rifle Association, a gun rights group closely aligned with Republicans.
The Supreme Court also threw out a lower court decision that had upheld Hawaii’s restrictions on openly carrying firearms in public as valid under the Second Amendment.
In a separate ruling, SCOTUS weighed in on the case of Kennedy v. Bremerton School District in which a football coach was fired for praying on the field after games.
Kennedy asserted that the school district violated the Free Speech and Free Exercise Clauses of the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. The district also used the First Amendment to justify its argument, claiming that Kennedy’s prayers in view of the public and students following a school-sanctioned event violate the Establishment Clause because his actions could be perceived as a district endorsement of religion.
Justice Neil Gorsuch delivered the majority opinion, ruling against the school district:
“Respect for religious expressions is indispensable to life in a free and diverse Republic—whether those expressions take place in a sanctuary or on a field, and whether they manifest through the spoken word or a bowed head. Here, a government entity sought to punish an individual for engaging in a brief, quiet, personal religious observance doubly protected by the Free Exercise and Free Speech Clauses of the First Amendment,” Gorsuch wrote.
These are just three of the topics that have been decided by the court in recent days. To be sure, there have been others, and not all of them have been decided as one might hope. However, with the current screaming from the unhinged left, and calls for both impeachment of the Justices, and worse, it is clearly leaning in favor of the conservative populace.
God is clearly winning. We continue to pray and to fight to bring morals and Christian values back to our country.
