COVID Shots for Babies and Toddlers?

COVID Shots for Babies and Toddlers?

Idaho GOP Gov. Brad Little’s administration wasted no time this week promoting COVID-19 vaccines for children as young as six months old.

The state Department of Health and Welfare announced the availability of the shots to the youngest Idahoans on Wednesday via social media. As of Thursday morning, the agency’s official website says the protocol is available to children ages 5 and up.

There is no reason to rush to inject babies and toddlers with an experimental vaccine. Florida is leading the brigade of dissenters, where Gov. Ron DeSantis decided against ordering a supply of the vaccines for children under 5. It is the only state in the country to take that path.

“We are not going to have any programs where we’re trying to jab 6-month-old babies with mRNA,” DeSantis said at a press conference Monday. “We still have not ordered (the shots). We’re not going to order it.”

Meanwhile, Tennessee lawmakers have started demanding that Gov. Bill Lee follow suit. Rep. Jason Zachary, in a letter cosigned by the state’s House leadership team, wrote, “We ask that you direct the Tennessee Department of Health to halt distribution, promotion or recommendation of Covid-19 vaccines for our youngest Tennesseans.”

The same should happen here in Idaho.

Questions remain about the efficacy of the shots. The federal government’s own risk-benefit analysis found that those who received the first dose had a 30% increased chance of getting COVID-19 compared to those in the placebo group. The children’s trial didn’t show a reduction in severe illness. More than 4,000 children recruited by the FDA for the trial didn’t complete it, without explanation why.

Importantly, there has been no research on the vaccine’s long term impacts on children.

The risks from not vaccinating little kids are almost nil. It is well understood that children are the least at risk of getting sick or dying from Covid. According to the state’s own data, there have been two deaths among children under the age of 18, making it perhaps the most nonlethal of all viruses. On the talk show circuit this week, Biden administration officials struggled to give a compelling reason why children should be vaccinated, defaulting to the usual speculation about Long COVID. The legacy media have been predictably unmotivated to question the government’s narrative that children need the shot.

It’s not surprising that Little continues to pander to so-called public health experts, Big Pharma, and technocrats in state government. Little vetoed a bill to “pause” some vaccine requirements, and he has resisted efforts to rein in the emergency powers he’s invoked since the virus started to spread.

That’s why it’s important for Idaho lawmakers to get involved now. They should demand that the state stop promoting the vaccines and participating in its rollout to young children. They should demand answers to lingering questions about the safety and efficacy of the shot.

  1. This is NOT VACCINE, it is an experimental “drug”. If one has the virus, it can be treated safely and effectively with vitamin C, vitamin D, zinc, and with off-label use of Ivermectin; hydroxychloroquine, and the virus is no more dangerous than any other flu.
Last numbers from CDC website (as of Oct 15) there has been 17,128 deaths, 117,399 serious injuries including death, and a total of 818,044 adverse events caused by the COVID-19 VACCINES. I have not checked it lately. When you take the untested vaccine it makes you guinea pig, and that does require a lawful INFORMED CONSENT here in the USA.
Joseph Ladapo, surgeon general of Florida, medical degree from Harvard Medical School and his Ph.D. from the Harvard School of Public Health says: “Lockdowns are a public health disaster, and vaccines should not be mandated.” “As we now know, these vaccines are not preventing transmission. Sure, they sometimes reduce the likelihood of transmission, but they’re not preventing it.”
Go look up the patents… 1999, Dr. Anthony Fauci funded research to create “an infectious replication-defective recombinant coronavirus.” In 2002, Ralph Baric, Ph.D. and colleagues at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, filed a patent on recombinant coronavirus, and within a year, we got the world’s first SARS outbreak.
Beginning in or around 1999, at least 4,000 patents involving coronavirus have been filed, including patents detailing key features of the so-called “novel” SARS-CoV-2 virus.

I believe this was planned by domestic enemies of the USA.

    • “Social media users are sharing a post showing statistics from the U.S. Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). This data, however, is not verified or causal.

An example can be seen here .
      instagram-image-CVbUL2vAh-N

The text in the post reads: “New VAERS numbers have been published. 818,042 Adverse Events, 127,641 Doctor Visits, 83,412 Hospitalizations, 92,017 Urgent Care, 26,199 Disabled, 10,179 Bell’s Palsy, 10,304 Myocarditis, 8,408 Heart Attacks, 2,631 Miscarriages, 17,128 Deaths. 100% Safe And Effective.”

Comments on the post includes: “100% Safe and Effective is a Damn Lie!!! Research the truth and be shocked” and “Ya that’s what the Dumcrats wants you to believe! Just wait until the real bad chemistry starts working!!!!!”

As shown (vaers.hhs.gov/data.html), VAERS welcomes healthcare providers, vaccine manufacturers, and the public to submit reports to the system. However, it warns that data found on the site “may contain information that is incomplete, inaccurate, coincidental, or unverifiable.”

As stated (here) by the CDC, “Reports of adverse events to VAERS following vaccination, including deaths, do not necessarily mean that a vaccine caused a health problem.”

According to CDC guidance listed on its page reporting adverse events from COVID-19 vaccines, seen here , there have been 8,878 reports of death (0.0022%) recorded from December 14, 2020, to October 18, 2021 “among people who received a COVID-19 vaccine.” It is important to note that the “FDA requires healthcare providers to report any death after COVID-19 vaccination to VAERS, even if it is unclear whether the vaccine was the cause.”

Reuters has debunked similar claims that VAERS data implies causality, here , here and here .”

Hey, I can copy and paste, too!!

  2. Gee Wayne, I hope the state would promote a healthy Idaho. Since almost 1 in 5 cases of COVID were children and long haul COVID can develop, I can’t see a reason to not vaccinate a child.
