Harter – My Belief In God And The Bible

Recently, some Democrats tried to make a political issue of my belief in God and the fact that I use the Bible to guide my life and decision making. This was likely meant to somehow shame me and confuse you, the voter. But they have a problem. People like me (and hopefully you) are showing up, standing up, speaking up in the face of what appears to be an effort to destroy our nation. And I have every confidence that we are going to put a stop to it.

I do believe in God and the teachings of the Bible to guide my life. And I am glad that they know it, though it apparently scares them. These same democrats are trying to get RINOs (Republicans who vote like Democrats) elected to positions within the Bonner County government. They wish to bring the same destructive behavior that turned some of America’s most beautiful cities (Seattle, Portland, San Francisco) into crime ridden drug infested hotbeds of discontent and division to our beloved county. This is how democrat/socialists operate. They infiltrate, subvert, and destroy. I can give numerous examples but all you really must do is pay attention, the evidence of their destructive efforts is evident, from Democrat run states to our federal government.

These dark forces have worked tirelessly for years to undermine Christian society and install democratic socialism. They use slander and lies to confuse and misdirect people so that they can influence how people vote. Democrats, knowing that Idaho is a traditionally Republican state, register as Republicans, run as Republicans, and vote with Democrats in our legislature. We have seen this done for years in our State and federal government and now we are seeing it in Bonner County.

Bonner County residents must see through all the lies and misdirection and recognize who the true liberty conservatives are. We are easy to spot, our values most likely mirror your own. We believe in God. We believe in the Constitution. We believe in free speech. We believe you are responsible for your choices. We believe that government should be limited and must respect the rights of the individual rather than obeying the dictates of a hateful mob. We believe that you have a duty to your children to raise them to have good character and reliable values.

Republicans in Name Only are hiding in plain sight. Take the time to read what they have written, watch and listen carefully to the forum videos, RINOs are also easy to spot. They are the ones who want to raise your taxes, to grow the size and influence of government over your personal choices. They want to govern through unelected regional bureaucrats. They want to groom your children with socialist idea like skin color and gender are more important than character. They want to silence you. They want you to worship government and obey their dictates.

This May 17th we are going to vote and choose who will represent us at both the State and County level. It is up to you to decide how you want our county and state to move forward. Idahoans will choose freedom. Vote for the liberty candidates that believe in the United States and God, and vote out the RINOs who are aiding and abetting the socialists’ ambitions.

  1. Could not have said it better.

“People like me (and hopefully you) are showing up, standing up, speaking up in the face of what appears to be an effort to destroy our nation. And I have every confidence that we are going to put a stop to it. I do believe in God and the teachings of the Bible to guide my life.

  2. It’s oxymoronic to declare you believe in Yahweh God of the Bible and then swear to uphold the biblically seditious Constitution as the law of the land.

It’s furthermore idolatry. Idolatry is not so much about statues as it is statutes, such as what one considers the supreme law of the land.

To futilely attempt to meld the Bible and the Constitution is to be as double minded as were the Israelites on Mt. Carmel with Elijah: Why halt ye between two opinions? If We the People (a contemporary form of Baal*) be God, serve them. If Yahweh be God, serve Him!

    • Sadly, you are correct, it is a choice. But like the people of Israel petitioned Samuel to set a King up over them, thus setting a wicked precedence, and further supported by Jesus’s guidance to “Render unto Ceasar’s his own; and Yahweh’s to Yahweh”…the history of the Bible has supported Monarchies and Aristocracies.

And the U.S. Constitution does outline a Republic, could have been better, but like it was said at the Convention of 1787, “We must like Solon give the people not the best government we can devise; but the best they will receive.”

      Hard choice…
