Biden Disrespects Gold Star Families and Fallen Soldiers
by Shari Dovale
The debate rages: Did Biden check his watch during the dignified transfer of fallen soldiers from Afghanistan?
On Sunday, Aug. 29, 2021, 13 fallen US service members were brought home from Afghanistan after being killed by a suicide bomber in Kabul. They arrived at arrived at Dover Air Force Base and their caskets were transferred during a solemn ceremony attended by Biden and his wife.
As each of the caskets were taken from the plane to waiting mortuary vans, the military members saluted as the civilians held their hands over their hearts. Biden did not, as a commander-in-chief should, salute the soldiers. Instead he chose to hold his hand over his chest.
The full video of the event can be watched on CSPAN, but it does not show everything that is now being disseminated by the American public. Joe Biden was completely disrespectful of the Gold Star families and the fallen soldiers by repeatedly checking his watch during the ceremony, as if he was bored.
The Biden-bot supporters and MSM propaganda machines will tell you that he was not checking his watch, but looking at a rosary in honor of his son, Beau. They all admit that Joe repeatedly looked down at his wrist, yet they do not want to admit he was looking at a watch.
It is true that Biden has been seen wearing a wrist rosary on occasion, however, the photos of this event seem very definitive. Biden was looking at his watch.
We have seen no photo from that day that shows Joe wearing a rosary on his wrist. Just a watch, and it is very clear in every photo.
The next question is whether or not he did this multiple times. There is another photo that shows him looking at his watch again:
So it is clear that he did this more than once.
Two of the Gold Star fathers went on Fox News’ Sean Hannity show and proclaimed their disgust at Joe Biden repeatedly disrespecting their children.
Darin Hoover, father of slain Marine Staff Sgt. Taylor Hoover, claimed Biden looked at his watch 13 times.
“That didn’t happen just once,” he alleged. “That happened on every single one that came out of that airplane. It happened on every single one of them. They would release the salute and he’d look down at his watch. On every last one. All 13—he looked down at his watch.”
