Is Idaho Speaker Scott Bedke Running For Lt Gov?

Does Idaho Speaker of the House, Rep. Scott Bedke, need the Liberal “Me Too” base to get elected Lt. Governor? This might very well be the case as he does not have much conservative support throughout the state..
This announcement has been put on the back burner in favor of the Constitutional railroad job that Speaker Bedke seems to have engineered for Rep. Aaron von Ehlinger. However, that political hit job should be put to bed this morning in what appears to be a predetermined outcome for the young Representative from Lewiston.
Bedke will then be free to pat himself on the back as he makes the rounds of Liberal-Conservative Lincoln Day events, catering to the least Conservative Republicans in the State.
It is common knowledge in Boise that Speaker Bedke intends to run for Lt. Governor, with possible higher aspirations later. The Christian Conservative, and very popular, Janice McGeachin currently holds the position.
Though he spends time with the “middle of the road” Republicans in a few areas, he does not meet with true conservatives, such as those in the Idaho Panhandle, because of a decided lack of support.
He will need to get someone on board in the northern counties to build his base. Will he ask his new protegee, Rep. Sage Dixon, who recently made a name for himself as the Chairman of the not-so-ethical Ethics Committee?
This could also be why several solid conservatives are currently being attacked in the Main Stream Media. Bedke does not know who might be running against him in his upcoming attempt at Lt Gov, but he will have no chance against a genuine conservative.
It will be interesting to watch this circus unfold, as the Liberal Bedke tries to get true Conservatives to forget the shenanigans he signed his name to.
