Wake Up Redoubt – 20-05 – Radical Racism

A new podcast featuring Shari Dovale and Bret Roush, with Redoubt News.

Episode 20-05, recorded on Father’s Day, June 21, 2020.

Headlines and discussion include Trump rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 20th; Seattle rioters; Followup on success of Liberate America Rally; and the Radical racism gripping the country.

Following are links to some of the headlines concerning the statues being defaced and torn down around the country. It has not been limited to confederate statues, as the rioters have defaced or destroyed statues of abolitionist Matthias Baldwin, Father Junipero Serra, a memorial honoring black Civil War regiment, and more.

Popular Mechanics had an article titled “How to Remove a Racist Statue”. This has since been changed to “How to Topple a Statue Using Science”, however, if you notice the screen capture, you will see that the header in the upper tab still shows the original title:

Virginia State Senator Amanda Chase reacted angrily to this announcement, saying the governor is attempting to “erase white history.”

The following are some links to racially charged products, and/or companies, currently and over time.
