An American Redoubt Smack Down

Watching the wanton destruction throughout the country this week has stirred the nerves of everyone. Seeing the senseless damage and violence in the urban areas reminds us that their are forces bigger than most fighting to take down our country.
Reports of anarchists burning down homes with children inside, then blocking firefighters from rescuing these children, prove these allegations to be true. But the people of the American Redoubt, and Idaho patriots specifically, were not about to let that happen in their communities.
When word was received that Antifa was coming to Couer d’Alene, Idaho on Monday night, hundreds of residents armed themselves and set out to protect their fellow man, and the businesses that only recently reopened.
Accounts from the scene showed that the protesters were vastly outnumbered by long-guns. Some of the protesters seemed to back down on their affiliations with the anarchist groups, fearing the response they would overwhelmingly receive.
Senate Candidate Alex Barron, who is known as the Bard of the American Redoubt, was on scene to report on the situation:
Earlier in the day, there was a good-sized group of protesters that showed up at a local Winco grocery store in Couer d’Alene. That group was met by a group of locals 3 to 5 times their size.
Reactions on Facebook were highly enthusiastic in favor of the community protecting themselves.
Brent Regan: Last night’s Gun d’Alene was AMAZING! Thousands of citizens, the majority of them armed, turned out at the mere suggestion that Antifa anarchist thugs and/or Proud Boys radicals may be coming to cause trouble. You want to cause trouble in our town? Not just “No” but “Hell No!!”. You are welcome to come. You are welcome to peacefully protest. But do anything stupid and it won’t last 10 seconds.
Many shopkeepers on Sherman stood guard in front of their businesses. Their faces were not expressing fear and apprehension but rather smiles and gratitude. Warm ‘Hellos’ and ‘Thank yous’ were abundant. One immigrant minority restaurant owner was cheerfully passing out bottles of water to any who wanted one.
Matthew Shea: Great job tonight Patriots. Hundreds of armed peaceful Americans rallied to protect businesses in CDA. Antifa tucked tail and ran. An American Redoubt smack down. Thank you to all the prayer warriors out there as well.
Tim Kastning: I did not see any news media in Couer d’Alene last night, and doubt that 700 people with guns showing up to protect their beloved city from BLM and Antifa riots will make national news. This does not fit their narrative where no guns are allowed, police are ordered to stand-down, and businesses burn. God bless Idaho!
