Putting The Right Man In Place As President
by Pete Ketcham
INTRODUCTION
The following is a brief time-line overview of the beginning and subsequent growth of our United States. The purpose of this article is to highlight where we started, our progress through the years, and where we may be headed under the present political and social events that are impacting our nation today.
WHERE IT BEGAN
Our forefathers (and mothers) started out as a dedicated group of people who believed so strongly in their bible, God, and Jesus Christ, that they left their native country of England in 1602 and moved to Holland to avoid of being dominated by the Church Of England.
They worked hard in Holland and survived with their religious freedom, but felt that there had to be more to their existence of just surviving and being assimilated into the culture of Holland.
They heard about another land across the ocean, termed “The New World” (also called the Americas), and believed that was where God wanted them to go, and so they went.
Not all of them went at one time, but a select group made the first arduous journey by a ship called the Mayflower, and arrived in 1620 at a place in this New World called Plymouth.
They formed the Plymouth Colony and were called the first Pilgrims, but tragically many of them died the first winter, yet the surviving remainder tenaciously clung to their christian faith and the Plymouth Colony miraculously began to prosper.
As the years progressed other colonists arrived from England forming additional colonies that prospered. They all relied on the guidance and blessings of God, yet failed to see the tragic sin of slavery, which started about 1690. They knew in their hearts slavery was not in God’s plan for them.
Nevertheless, the colonies grew and prospered, (despite the ongoing “French & Indian War” 1754-1763, a battle for territory between France and England) and finally came to a point (due to many adverse factors over the years with England) where they believed God would have them separate entirely from English control and become an independent nation.
THE REVOLUTION
During the course of a bloody Revolutionary war with England (1775-1783), God showed his favor to this new nation’s humble patriot army (led by George Washington) by numerous miracles which finally led to the victory over the greategodst army in the world at that time, and allowed the establishment of a nation called the United States of America.
The American patriots then drew up a constitution based in part on biblical principles and concepts which was adopted in 1788, and selected a divinely appointed man (George Washington ) to become the first president.
The young nation grew larger and stronger through the following years, repulsed a British attempt to conquer them (war of 1812) and moved ahead into the 19th century with confidence in God’s guidance and protection, but unfortunately continued to ignore God’s condemnation against the practice of slavery.
CIVIL WAR
God finally dealt with the nation’s failure to discontinue slavery and allowed a very bloody civil war (1861-1865) to take place that killed and injured over 600,000 citizens and destroyed the southern plantations, railways, factories and other improvements where slavery prominently existed. During this national divisive struggle God had placed His leader in the presidency ( Abraham Lincoln).
After this momentous event that almost split the nation, the United states flourished and continued growing stronger and more prosper under the guidance and protection of God, and holding the christian faith as their moral guide.
The nation moved forward in history and survived the first world war (1914-1918) and on into the great economic depression (1929-1939). The nation then came to the beginning of World War Two (WW2) (1941-1945), the greatest war in the history of the world.
The United States with Divine help from God won WW2 and the nation emerged from this conflict as the greatest nation in military strength and economic war production in world history. At this point the US had reached it’s apex.
Even though there was much prayer throughout this WW2 conflict, when victory finally came the nation gave the major credit for victory to it’s armed forces and very little credit to God. It seemed it was always for the men and women who fought in the war. (who of course deserved our nation’s thankfulness), but the proper spirit of thankfulness to God did not seem to be preeminent.
LEAVING GOD’S GUIDANCE
Starting in approximately 1945 the young men and women who fought in this great conflict settled down, bought small homes, went to college, and began raising a new generation, now referred to as “The Baby Boomers”. As children this generation adopted the traditional morals and patriotism of their parents, but as they grew into adulthood in the early 1960’s many began rejecting the moral guidelines of their parents and the basic precepts of Christianity. As this rejection of Christian moral guidelines grew, many of them evolved into a counterculture segment of free love, drugs, Woodstock, and Vietnam protests.
As the years progressed, this segment of the Baby Boomer generation retained their anti-Christian culture and passed it down to their children, and their grand children which has now evolved into the present day acceptance and promotion of bizarre sexual perversion, the murder of millions of unborn children, and political deceit. In essence, these “Boomers” became the exact evil apposite of their God-fearing ancestors who founded this nation.
CONCLUSION
In the last forty years these Boomers and their offspring have acquired complete control of the national education system, the mainstream news media, the entertainment industry, and of course the Democrat political party, (which has now lost all vestige of integrity). It would now seem, that with these four cultural “heavy hitters” they will be able to set the godless moral course of this nation (as they are presently doing) well into the future, unless there is a significant national event that changes it all.
It could be possible that God may soon decide we have once again drifted so far from His guidance and protection, that a major correction is due, (similar to the one that ended slavery.) as it is now evident that we have moved past any peaceful political resolution between the God-fearing conservative citizens, and the godless liberal citizens.
It is hard to say what the future holds, but one thing seems clear as we look back in our own history, we see that God had put the right man in place as president during the two most significant crises in our history, (the Revolutionary War, and the Civil War), and perhaps we may now be seeing the same divine action taking place today.

The bible explicitly endorses slavery in both the Old and New Testaments. Read Exodus, 1 Peter, Ephesians, 1 Timothy, Leviticus, Colossians, Mathew, Luke for repeated examples. Read what the Bible actually says and quit trying to spin it with your own lies.
“They all relied on the guidance and blessings of God, yet failed to see the tragic sin of slavery, which started about 1690.”
False.
As it was then, so it is now. There are slavers now (so-called Human Traffickers), exemplified with the suicided Jeffery Epstein, along with all the carriers, and all the consumers of people. “They” are all criminals, even the ones with fake badges.
They, the so-called founders, included not only those who saw it, they included those who invested in it, they included those who altered the government so as to subsidize it, “they” created it, and “they” perpetuated it. “They” put themselves above the law, and “they” ensured the so-called “Civil War.” “Their” preference for subsidized slavery was the cause of the pogrom falsely called a “Civil” War.
There were those who did fail to see it then, as there are those who refuse to see it even now.
Thomas Jefferson, A Summary View of the Rights of British America, August 1745”
“For the most trifling reasons, and sometimes for no conceivable reason at all, his majesty has rejected laws of the most salutary tendency. The abolition of domestic slavery is the great object of desire in those colonies, where it was unhappily introduced in their infant state. But previous to the enfranchisement of the slaves we have, it is necessary to exclude all further importations from Africa; yet our repeated attempts to effect this by prohibitions, and by imposing duties which might amount to a prohibition, have been hitherto defeated by his majesty’s negative: Thus preferring the immediate advantages of a few African corsairs to the lasting interests of the American states, and to the rights of human nature, deeply wounded by this infamous practice. Nay, the single interposition of an interested individual against a law was scarcely ever known to fail of success, though in the opposite scale were placed the interests of a whole country. That this is so shameful an abuse of a power trusted with his majesty for other purposes, as if not reformed, would call for some legal restrictions. . . ”
14th of October, 1774:
“On the same day, Congress unanimously resolved, “that the respective colonies are entitled to the common law of England, and more especially to the great and inestimable privilege of being tried by their peers of the vicinage according to the course of that law.” They further resolved, “that they were entitled to the benefit of such of the English statutes as existed at the time of their colonization, and which they have, by experience, respectively found to be applicable to their several and local circumstances.” They also resolved, that their ancestors, at the time of their immigration, were “entitled to all the rights, liberties, and immunities, of free and natural-born subjects within the realms of England.”
On the 20th day of October 1774:
This agreement contained a clause to discontinue the slave trade, and a provision not to import East India tea from any part of the world. In the article respecting non-exportations, the sending of rice to Europe was excepted.”
On the 1st of April, 1775:
“On this occasion, the importation of slaves was expressly prohibited.”
Thomas Jefferson
Uncensored Declaration of Independence:
“he has waged cruel war against human nature itself, violating it’s most sacred rights of life & liberty in the persons of a distant people who never offended him, captivating & carrying them into slavery in another hemisphere, or to incur miserable death in their transportation thither. this piratical warfare, the opprobrium of infidel powers, is the warfare of the CHRISTIAN king of Great Britain. determined to keep open a market where MEN should be bought & sold, he has prostituted his negative for suppressing every legislative attempt to prohibit or to restrain this execrable commerce: and that this assemblage of horrors might want no fact of distinguished die, he is now exciting those very people to rise in arms among us, and to purchase that liberty of which he has deprived them, & murdering the people upon whom he also obtruded them; thus paying off former crimes committed against the liberties of one people, with crimes which he urges them to commit against the lives of another.”
In the Writings of Thomas Jefferson, Vol. I. p. 10:
“The clause, too, reprobating the enslaving the inhabitants of Africa, was struck out in complaisance to South Carolina and Georgia, who had never attempted to restrain the importation of slaves, and who, on the contrary, still wished to continue it. Our northern brethren also, I believe felt a little tender under those censures; for, though their people had very few slaves themselves, yet they had been pretty considerable carriers of them to others.”
George Mason:
“Mr. Chairman, this is a fatal section, which has created more dangers than any other. The first clause allows the importation of slaves for twenty years. Under the royal government, this evil was looked upon as a great oppression, and many attempts were made to prevent it; but the interest of the African merchants prevented its prohibition. No sooner did the revolution take place, than it was thought of. It was one of the great causes of our separation from Great Britain. Its exclusion has been a principal object of this state, and most of the states in the Union. The augmentation of slaves weakens the states; and such a trade is diabolical in itself, and disgraceful to mankind; yet, by this Constitution, it is continued for twenty years. As much as I value a union of all the states, I would not admit the Southern States into the Union unless they agree to the discontinuance of this disgraceful trade, because it would bring weakness, and not strength, to the Union.”
As it was then, so it is now, people refuse to see those among their number who are in power as criminals, and because they fail to see it, they fail to do anything about it, they even subsidize it as a matter of fact. They, even now, invest in it, not only doing so willingly, but they work to cause other people to join the cabal.
72 virgins here he comes? Just no one told him they wouldn’t be females? Aloha snackbar!
I agree with Trump on many issues but his Executive Order targeting Anti-Semitism on American Campuses is an infringement on our 1 Amendment. If he passes Executive Orders for Jews…than why not for Christians and other religions ? And with the assassination of Soleimani the tensions in the Middle East will escalate and might lead to war. So, recently I have wondered if President Trump “might be the right guy in place as President”. Is he putting us, the American people, first or the Military Industrial Complex & Israel ? We shall see.
